Not even frustration, just grumbling. And there is quite some trolling to lure people to a newer world.

The game is good if you have content.

I think the game is fine.
But, I do not PVP so I can not comment on it.
    PVE works great.

Just my 2 cents worth ( hoping to get more stars ).

    Weeeelll,
I didn’t crash once today (caveat: no PVPing or dungeoning, was clearing out maps and slogging through Psijic leveling on an alt, but I’d crash about once an hour just doing these sort of things before) and load screen seemed shorter.

Block cancelling, which I was still working on to begin with, is definitely harder for me with certain skills. Plus sometimes the shield display after blocking just would not go away, short of logging out. I also still had an issue with skills not firing and all that.

Will be trying PVP tomorrow, pray for me :p

Currently playing NA and EU every other day and i have no such lag . In Cyrodiil there is some button lag, but only when doing heavy inner fights. I play on a mediocre low TDP PC.

Two weeks ago i ve seen a guy jumping from the inner ground of a keep on top of the gate house. two stores high. This sadly requires some anti-cheat code.

My biggest problem are some random disconnects telling me 3 times i am logged in. Thats maybe akamia stuff...

    I have:

    Intel® Core™ i7-9750H Processor
    RAM: 16 GB / Storage: 1 TB HDD & 512 GB SSD
Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 8 GB

I have fibre optic wired connection, use WTFast VPN and I have skill delay of up to 5 secs in PVP.
I have never seen my broadband connection drop below 50mb's
My ping normally sits at 40 -60, but since the patch jumps to nearly 300 sometimes.
It isn't as bad in open world, but why would it be... there is nothing to process.

In terms of the guy jumping into a tower are you sure he didn't use undo? It is a pretty popular to back bar at the moment.

Bear I mind no VPN can improve your latency, in most cases it contributes to the opposite. Despite of all the VPN companies claims, you just add more routing hops to your connection.

VPN is an encrypted tunnel. It offers safety but not performance. Is there even one game that still locks out IP's from other continents ?

It's a great game mate for sure, the endgame is suffering with skill lag in high physic/populated area's.

If you like playing PVP its not worth it. If you like playing PVE, I haven't had any bad experiences since the update other than horrid lag when I leave a wayshirne and the game not allowing me "click on stuff" like loot, doors, NPC. Sometimes I have to move around or dodge roll in order for it to work and I can "click on stuff". But yeah, PVP is sad and horrible. Don't go there :'(

    depends:

If you are a single player >>> game is great
If you are a PvE MMO player >>> kinda okay - group finder still bugs if you with 2 or more ppl. Nothing new on this side. And combat feels a bit clunky to the past because of the block change or an unknown problem
If you are a PvP MMO player >>> worse than ever - they delete the MMO function from battlegrounds and IMP City and Cyro is unplayable

You should already know the answer to this question. If you equate some people on the forums as the player base, well then that is a totally different problem. The sky is not falling.

I don't know, maybe I'm the luckiest player in ESO but:
    - I don't have much lag, most of it is due to my own connection bugging out.
    - My skills work, I press the key and my character does the thing, my animations cancel as intended, etc.
    - Battlegrounds ques work fine and are faster than before the big patch.
    - Same with dungeon finder ques.
    - Battlegrounds don't lag, and the skills work there too, I even win some matches. ;)
    - Overland content works ok, as always.
    - I don't know about Cyrodiil, I rarely go there, but when I do I don't really get any game breaking lag.
    - Imperial City works ok, no lag.
    - What else? I got some crashes right after the patch, nothing major, mostly during logging out or exiting game. They are gone now.
Ok, now to be fair I do experience some bugs:
    - The worst one is that I sometimes get stuck with my weapons drawn out. I can't interact with anything then, the only fixes I found out is to either jump in water, die or relog. It happens 0-2 times per playing session, it's not that annoying.
    - Weapons land at my feet during swap. It happens mostly right after loading the zone, although it's quite rare for me.
    - Running on horse. Mostly just after loading, stopping and starting again fixes it. I doubt it'll be fixed, and it's quite embedded in ESO's culture right now so I'd probably missed it if they did fix it.
    - NPCs load slower and sometimes I have to wait till they appear/finish their animation to interact with them. Mostly happens right after I relog to do the writs, not that much or even never when I'm questing or running dungeons. A bit annoying but not game breaking and may be due to my own hardware too.
    - After the patch, the compass hologram on my Baadari senche "lags" behind, see pic.
    fqHV8mY.png
    - I have to agree again on various TOSes during the game launch if I get disconnected due to my internet bugging out. That's mildly annoying.

And I think that's all the issues I experience from the top of my head. Maybe I'm just that lucky.

You do know you can play the game without subbing, right?

If all you wanted to do was check how the game is, no need to sub?

The agree to ToS etc. can be fixed by right-clicking on UserSettings.txt in your Documents/Elder Scrolls Online/live folder, select Properties, uncheck the Read-only check box, click Apply; open the file, search the file for:
    SET AcceptedPrivacyPolicyVersion "8"
    SET AcceptedTOSVersion "3"
    SET AcceptedEULAVersion "3"

If on PC those are the current versions. Make sure those are shown just like that, then save the file. Right-click on the file again, recheck the Read-only box, click Apply, and it shouldn't ask you to agree to them again. At least, it doesn't for me after doing that, on windows 10 pro.

It's not anywhere near as bad as ever stated on the forums. The forums are people that come to complain. They are vocal minority with nothing better to do then complain.

Are there problems? Sure. Did the performance fix not really fix anything? Yes, but didn't really make anything worse.

    Probably both.

Far be it from me to deny others have had "game breaking" (hyperbole notwithstanding) performance issues, but I've certainly had nothing of the sort. The only thing that's really "that bad" is the increased push towards questionable forms of monetization. This has been happening not just in ESO, but in other games under the Zenimax umbrella.

It has it's incredibly frustrating moments, many of them in PvP IMO. But compared to how it has been on console in the past, it's not terrible right now. We had a few months where any transit between zones was a disconnect, so that was pretty rough. It's better than that.
