I would guess it'd be difficult to maintain upkeep of the game if civilization comes to a grinding halt because of the Virus. :p

It's spreading like fire in my State btw. :/

I hope that an actual apocalypse would be sufficient to finally put my advocacy for game performance, and the game itself, into perspective.

LOL. Not worried a bit. Just like all the other pandemics before it.

Both missed the point behind the face after that sentence. There are people here far worse than me who act like the game is their entire lives.

Numbers? Percentage of the State population? If the US, there are 808 confirmed cases in a population of about 330 million, with 28 deaths.

It may well pose an additional scale of problems in coming weeks and months, but currently "spreading like fire in my State btw"? Which State?

we will forget about this threat in a few months when media will find a new one to scary you

All it takes is one. Remember back when the black plague was starting up and everyone was tweeting "Oh it's nothing"? I do. Back then everyone was memeing about the "fake black death".

I live near Milan, Italy. It's crazy here too... stay safe, wash your hands well, avoid crowds.

ESO will not get affected, I hope... I need a distraction if the government stops me from leaving home (right now, I can go home, to work, or to the supermarket. The police are asking for documents for people to prove why they're out and about).

If required we could all pool all the power banks we own yes and thus keep it going for a little while longer.

Charge them up kittens. Oh do charge them up!

The alternative is to steam fuel them by the power of burning toilet rolls perhaps?

When you consider that DDOS attacks are launched by bot computers, I'm sure that ESO players control enough wireless fridges to be able to run the servers. Some might say as well as ZOS run them, but I couldn't possibly comment  !

Your nerf suggestion is dumb. Learn to counter other players instead of having the game rebuilt to your ability level.

Hmm, only 2% fatality rate and of those who die, almost all of them already had compromised immune systems.

    Hello everyone,

With this thread being a bit off-topic for the ESO forums, we're going to go ahead and close it down. For further posts be sure to stay constructive to avoid thread derailment, only illness we should worry about in Tamriel is the Knahaten Flu.

    Thank you for understanding.
