I can't get past the loading screen after character select -- the game crashes right away.

I had redownloaded the game after U25 and it ran fine, so it seems like it's only an issue as of this patch.

Tried repairing via the launcher, no change.

First, disable all of the add-ons which are loading. If the crash does not occur afterward, then re-enable each add-on one-by-one until you find the one which causes the problem. Then notify the add-on developer about it.

If you are not using any add-ons, then why do you play with only the native UI?

Of course, if the game client crashes after loading the character without any add-on(s), then there is indeed a problem somewhere. You might be better off to report it in the PC Technical Support forum for the platform which you use: Mac Technical Support.

After any crash like the one you describe, using the Launcher's Game Options to Repair Files should remedy corruption of the game installation on your computer that occurs perchance any files remain "open" when the game client crashes. It's a smart thing to use after a game client crash, but it will not correct any bug(s) in an add-on or in the game client.

If you can get to character select screen then just disable your add ons and libraries and see if that works. The option to do so is on the left under Characters.
