Farming alchemy mats

I'm sure I'm not new in this, but... What is the point of only one per node? Maybe two? I get much more from other nodes, but these dang flowers. Wow. Why is that? Quite frustrating.

There are more alchemy nodes that anything else. That and with the right passives, you get 4 to 16 potions/poisons for each combo of reagents.

If you do Alchemy Writs, between the daily rewards and the surveys, you will soon be swimming in mats. I have 4 figures of every alchemy ingredient, and my farming is best called puttering. It all comes from writs.

However, you are not the first, nor will you be the last to complain about alchemy reagents. At up to 300 Gold per flower, they are a very lucrative way to spend time farming.
