Idea: First dungeon of any day counts as pledge

What if every day you still get to choose from max 3 pledge dungeons to do but at the same time the first dungeon you do after the reset also counts as a pledge dungeon - this would allow you to do one dungeon you like + choose 2 out of 3 of the rotation...

    Aand we got tons more soloing fg1 or people in tool whining others why not fg1 on random.

    Only if you get that key from first dlc dungeon.

    Depends on how many people would stop after that one dungeon.
    I'd rather see a Solo Story Mode added to all dungeons. People can do whatever they want whenever they want. If they can't get a Group together for whatever reason, they can still get their dungeon of choice done. No need to lure uninterested people into doing a dungeon they don't really want to do except for the rewards.

    I think the whole idea of pledges is to provide extra incentive for players to experience and learn more content. Giving the same rewards for completing a dungeon of your choice kinda defeats the purpose.

    If this is so, then I think a key should be awarded for a Random Dungeon as well (maybe max 1/day) if it turns out to not be a Pledge Dungeon. Because with Pledge Dungeons, you can avoid particular dungeons by simply not doing the pledge; and wait for the cycle to bring you the easy dungeons. With Random Dungeons you are "forced" to learn whatever the dungeon finder gives you.

    i see that, thats why id make 1 out of 3 a choice and 2 ouf of 3 from the selection given... this would just allow you to find more pugs / members for dungeons you think are fun to do and not ONLY of the ones that are currently on pledge...

    It’s a bad idea. Actually, to be frank, it’s a very bad idea.

    The whole point of the pledges is not to provide players with keys, it’s to ensure that there is a regular number of players cycling through all the dungeons, ensuring that if you are a solo player there will regularly (at least once a fortnight) be a critical mass of players for any dungeon you might want to do.

    This idea would make the ‘port to FG1’ exploiters look like a tiny minority as everyone cycled all their characters through the easiest dungeon content available for their ‘free key’. It would conspire to make fewer players available for all the other dungeons.

    Aside from wanting free keys, I’m not sure what the motivation of OP is. It’s not as if the pledge dungeons are the only ones you’re allowed to do every day. Finding other players isn’t the issue. If I want to run whatever dungeon I like, I’ll just put a group together and run it.

    Only to you wouldn’t have to port, you’d just go right on in.

    Cue everyone jumping in Fungal 1 for 5-minute 2 keys guaranteed. Sounds like an excellent plan, nothing could possibly go wrong.
