During the Greymoor download and update I had time one my hands...

I was itching to spend more time in the ESO universe, but more Importantly I was jonsing for some good old CROWN CRATES.

What to do the game is down and I cant get to my favorite mini game.

So I made a Flame Atronach Crown Crates Simulator to play with.

I tried to see how long till I get the Radiant Apex Shadow Sench Mount and the Flame Atronach Bear Mount for scientific purposes.

So if you want to try your luck at Crown Crates but are not a whale or just purely are against them this way you entertain yourself for free.


Challenge: How many did you have to open till you got what you wanted?

Me: I just wanted to see how long till I get an Radiant Apex it took 640 Crates...2100 $ worth of crates !

I'm pretty sure the program you used messed up bad on that math. Maybe using wrong input?

Even though this is just a simulator it's kinda fun. Got one Radiant Apex mount after..30 rolls or so, the Night Frost Atronach Steed. I wish I had this luck with real actual crates ingame. x.x Years of crates, zero Radiant Apex mounts. Dx

I can't add pictures as this website is not mine, it's a random roll simulators for table tops games.

I simply used the data from the crown crate website.

Example : if the odds of an item are 5.00% for that crate result #, I add numbers from 1 to 500 to that roll. So 500 chances out of 10 000 so 5%

If the odds of the next item is 75.50% I add numbers from 501 to 8050 to that roll. So 7550 chances out of 10 000

If the next item like an radiant APEX shadow atronauch sench is 0.17% I add numbers from 8051 to 8067 to that roll. So 17 chances out of 10 000

I continue for all items PER RESULT Crate #, and I reach 10 000
Meaning it's 100% and all the item in the crate have been added.

The program rolls 1 to 10000 for all crates individually except the bonus crate is 1 to 58 000
"don't remember the exact number since I am on mobile"

For the bonus crate 1- 10 000 are rewards from the bonus reward and 10001 to 58 000 are "wabacat no bonus reward, adding it up to 16.94% of getting the bonus card.

I am thinking of adding more crate boxes probably the next one that come out.

Odds seem accurate. 100 crates, no flame atro mount. No radiant apex. A bunch of Malacath statues and hanful of Ice Wolves.

Edit: Was gonna go till I hit a radiant apex, but gave up at 300. Apex mounts at 162 and 174 228, 266. Resplendent Sweetroll at 258.

If that RNG was realistic, I would buy more crates. I got the Resplendent Sweetroll on my 8th roll and the Flame Atro Senche on my 13th roll. That never happens with the real Crown Crates.

Update: On my next try, it took 29 tries to get an apex mount.......some apex camel!

the next 10 spin i got like 4 mount and 3 pet so wish this was ingame lol

I recommend doing 15 crates at time and seeing what you get,

We had more then 11K rolls as of now!

So we had least 20 Radiant Apex mounts show up and 200+ Apex mount!

Someone is bound to get lucky or unlucky

Ohhh I see now. You were talking radiant apex mounts! Duh... Yeah. Makes more sense now.

Sweetroll at 85 and first Apex at 125. I stopped at around 200. No radiant apex. Sounds about right.

It would be awesome if it were mandatory to roll 200 times on this simulator before buying any actual real money crates just so you know what you're in for.

Edit: Kept going to 80 and...........!!! RADIANT !!! APEX !!! : MOUNT - !!! Cold Flame Atronach Wolf !!! Gonna keep going and see what happens.

I am at 200 and no more Radiants yet. I'm going to 300 and then quit.

300 and nothing more. That comes to 100,000 crowns for 2 radiant apex mounts. I'm not even going to figure out the dollars involved!

I don't need to try it to know I'll end up with a couple hundred thousand crown poisons before I ever see a apex mount cause that's all those stupid crates like to give out. Stopped buying long ago.

I agree, but that would sway people in both directions, lots of people can get apex in the first boxes and the humain mind loves to play tricks.

Ha i wish your simulator would be real, i got 3 (!) Apex Mounts in 30 rolls.

To compare:

In real i have over all seasons opend about 120 crates and NO Apex reward ever. Not a single one. Not even talking about radient apex.

Wow, first time I got crates was with frost crates, I wanted a frost mount and I bought 45 crates with in game gold from crafting. I was not planing on getting a Apex frost mount but planned instead of buying one with gems. On the last box of the first 15 crates I got An apex mount.
I was amazed, I still did not open the other 30 crates !

I can only speculate....

at 20K rolls Apex mounts drop rate is at 1.8% so around 360 Apex Mounts
+
at 20K rolls Radiant Apex mount drop rate is at 0.21% so around 40 mounts

Total 400 Epic mounts
