Just wanted to report that blastbones is now hitting people in stealth or invis regardless of when it was casted. I dunno if this is intended, but it is rather ridiculous that when i stealth and its still 20 meters away that it still hones in on me.

    It always did that as much as I know, except it wasn't as reliable before.
    Out of this game, tired of horrible performance and a lot of changes.

    Thats a bit silly. Imagine the out cry if every other projectile did that. Its one thing if it leaps next to you, its another when its 20 + meters away.

    My guess is that Blastbones is exploding where you were last stealthed and the AoE damage is hitting you.

    It needs a target so it can't be while you are cloaked (unless the caster is using a detection potion or skill).

    As far as other spammables, Force Pulse's cleave damage will pull you out of stealth if you are affected by a status effect and are near a teammate getting attacked by it.

    Agree, now i could accept that something like an warden bear could spot stealthed players as bears can smell well and are pretty smart. But blastbone is just an throwaway animated skeleton.
    AOE is also OK, seen people using walking barrages with caltrops and wall of elements trying to find hidden enemies as in this one.
    Grinding just make you go in circles.
    Asking ZoS for nerfs is as stupid as asking for close air support from the death star.

    Blast bones explosion is AoE. The skill is much more reliable since they sped up the leap animation.

    Skeletons don’t have eyeballs, so they obviously use radar to target.

    Yeah, if it were just the splash damage itd be one thing, but i was running with race against time in invis with the stealth speed buff from nightblade, and the thing actively tracked me.

    After some tests with a Stamcro and my Nb, it appears that I was wrong.

    Blastbones can't aim at you if you're in stealth when they appear.

    They only aim at your last position, and the AOE component of the skill hit you, so it only break stealth if you use Shadowy Disguise during the travel time of their leap, which is totally legit since they deal AOE damage.
    Note that they're so fast now that a lot of times while testing that, they hit me before I could enter stealth (So I did enter stealth), and you can't really get away from the AOE even with good speed.

    This is great news.

    heaven forbid you use one of the many counters to stealth.

    This is why this game will never be balanced, people like this thinking a bug that negates someones entire defenses is a good thing. Absolutely no objectivity.

    No, I didn't try to see how they behave if the Necro used a detect pot either, I didn't want to waste him too much time, but someone else could try other interactions more sophisticated for sure

    We already have a sit ton of counters to stealth in ESO. And now we have a ranged undodgeable AOE that can follow you even if you are invisible cloaked ? LOL... :joy: So um, the only counter to it is block ? can AOE be blocked ? I think it can't...

    Remember undagable warden birds ? How every one was saying that it is broken and it has no counter ? Well, now we have ranged projectile that is also AOE and ignores stealth / invisibility... With warden birds you at least could block it... here ?

    If I can manage to be in the game more than 5 minutes ill ask someone to test with me in my guild. If it does change direction tho, something needs to be done. It cant be that both our defenses get negated by a single ability.

    Yeah, this is my thoughts exactly. If it explodes NEXT to me its one thing, if it still tracks me when im in stealth and changes course, thats OPAF.

    Tested it in a controlled environment and it works as it should, if you invis before it leaps, all good. Mid leap is fair game tho.

    Yeah, well tell that to every other class that uses one button for their main defense. A magblade that can be hit in stealth by aoe hard hitting spammables would be the nail in the coffin to a class that is already struggling.

    ANYWAY, tested it and it works as it should, mustve been lag or desync. Or something.

    It's jumping at the player, is aoe skill, for me seems like working as intended. Also it your problem u build your "entire defense" around just cloak.

    Seems it was lag or desync, tested in a controlled environment and it works fine.

    Its not the entire defense it is the main defense, or should we start taking away other classes main defense because people dont like it?

    I played nb and im aware what is cloak doing. U use wording "entire defense". Also from what i saw on Cyro cloak IS your enitre defense.

    But back to topic, did fast testing and came with facts

    1. Blastbones have 2 phases run and jump. If it's close enough to u when enemy use it it jumps instantly after spawning, if it's to far away it will start running
    2. If u will cloak during spawning or during running it will not hit u BUT
    3. It has 8 sec duration, it means u need to stay in cloak during those 8 sec or stun him, otherwise it will start running/jumping moment u leave cloak (even for a moment)
    4. If it's in jump phase it will break cloak (since it's AOE) Also it kinda change to some weird type of projectile, so it's hard to stop it while it's flying (it's also pretty fast, i have no idea how animation of stopping it midair would look like)

    Alot of stuff started to break and hit you in cloak again. As far as I see on PTS patch notes they said single target charges, leap and teleports will hit through cloak if they use detectpot

    NPC/guard singletarget skills act like heatseeking missiles and breaks cloak.
    Player singletarget skills aswell.

    And siege does damage to you through cloak (atleast cold fire ballistas). It doesn't break your cloak but you take damage 'under' it.

    Not sure if bugs or ninjanerfs :neutral:

    Nothing new. Every patch they break cloak or/and shade.
    I'm done with this game because of ZOS pushing us into Vengeance, because they don't know how to fix Cyrodiil.
