Need opinion - race for sorc

I'm looking to make a new sorcerer character, but one that could swap between stamina and magicka whenever I feel like.

I'm not looking for a hybrid. I want to make a sorc I could run effectively as mag when I want to, and as stam when I want to. Alcast's recommended races I'm seeing that match between the two are Dark Elf and Khajiit.

Which do you think would be best for swapping back and forth in this situation?

I respecced all my characters between stamina and magicka to fool around.

And all of them worked both in PvE and PvP.

The difference is really small like 1-2k dps overall

Between Altmer > Dunmer > Breton > Khajiit

So choose it from whichever perspective you like!

Dunmer then you can swap between Stam/Mag anytime you want.

Definitely Dunmer. Have swapped mine back and forth many times.

I was kind of leaning the way of Dunmer, since I don't have one.

I am also thinking of doing the same for the next nightblade, but thinking of Khajiit in that instance.

Like everyone else said, Dunmer is the better choice if you want the most of everything.

You don’t really need the resource recoveries from a Khajiit since you have Dark Deal/Conversion. Your damage, critical damage, healing, and critical healing is higher as a Dunmer. You’re also more resistant to fire, which could help you survive a tiny bit more.

Don’t feel bad for what you pick though. Either works fine.

Dunmer or Khajiit would be the more optimal, but depending on what content you want to play, any can be viable.

Of those 2, Dunmer would be my choice.

This, select an race you like first then select for efficiency. An character you never play is an bank alt.
Overall I agree Dunmer is a bit better, for PvP I would go Khajiit.
Imperial is another option if you dislike both Khajiit and Dunmer.

Anything possible I play a Breton stamblade just because I like the race and class and I do very well.
