C:\Users\%USER\Documents\Elder Scrolls Online directory not being read by game

The C:\Users\%USER\Documents\Elder Scrolls Online directory and contents are not being read by game.

Post-patch this morning, anything in that directory is not being touched/read/written.

I've tried removing the directory altogether, then changing settings in the game client (graphics, combat, etc), and the directory isn't recreated - but the settings persist when closing and relaunching the game.

I've done a repair, and a full re-install.

No matter what I try, the directory and its contents aren't recreated.

Looking for suggestions please!

@ZOS_GinaBruno FYI - there are about 15 of us with the same issue right now (per conversations on Discord).

Maybe something happened to priviledges and the client isn't able to write in your documents directory ?

I would probably try running the client with admin rights and see if that makes any difference. But do it with your own risk.

@daim Thanks for the suggestion, already tried running both the launcher (then launching the game) or directly opening eso64.exe with local admin.

It looks like the directory with all that has moved to:

    C:\ProgramData\Elder Scrolls Online\live\

Even with all the old files in C:\Users\%USER\Documents\Elder Scrolls Online\live\

WHY THE HECK WOULD THEY DO THIS OUT OF THE BLUE?!?!?!

EDIT: I found the directory by taking a screen shot and looking at where it announced the save location.

    Here's the solution:
    1. Move all files from C:\Users\%USER\Documents\Elder Scrolls Online\live to C:\ProgramData\Elder Scrolls Online\live\
    2. Make a backup of the directory: C:\Users\%USER\Documents\Elder Scrolls Online
    3. Delete the directory: C:\Users\%USER\Documents\Elder Scrolls Online
    4. Open Minion and change the directory for addons to: C:\ProgramData\Elder Scrolls Online\live\AddOns
    5. Restart Minion
    6. Swear at the people who decided to make this change without automating the migration of user data.
    7. Insult the lineage and ancestry (I like implying camel or donkey ancestry) of those same people.

Here's a screen shot of Minion with the new settings:

Weird. My client is working as before without problems.

Out of a few hundred who have responded / talked in Discords, there are only about 20 so far who have had this issue.
