Can we properly classify this attack as direct damage since that what it is..

Right now it is procing dot sets... Should be procing direct dmg sets

Is it supposed to be working this way? I have been trying figure it out since the change was made. It’s a bit confusing, right now I kind of split the cp points, probably not the best idea.

Puncturing sweeps is confused.. Mechanically it is working as a direct damage (i think this is intended as it was changed in a patch note some time ago) so it gets boosted by the CP Master at Arms and NOT thalmaturge..

It used to be classified as a DOT and used to be boosted by thalmaturge..

Okay that's all fine so far..... Here is the problem..

Puncturing sweeps will proc sets that activate with damage over time abilities... Like Valkyn Skoria for example...
But won't proc sets like Nerien'eth which trigger on direct damage..

So whats the deal ZOS? Can this small bug be corrected please....

Is puncturing sweeps supposed to be Direct damage or a Damage over time? And can you make it so CP boosts and set procs agree.
