I also grinned 1 hour and 30 mins killing mobs and delve bosses.... and got 0 Strong Boxes... WTF is this?

No, you are supposed to buy crowns and tickets from store, not grind) This is exactly why fragments were made untradeable, so you could not buy them from other people.

The fragments drop from the event strongboxes, not from the daily crates. The only thing the event does for the daily crates is give you double, which is nice if you're trying to farm Bright-Throat or motifs.

:O I got 2 in 10 minutes, you must be the unluckiest individual ...

Spent an over an hour questing and got none. Granted I was not farming focusing on the quests.
