i just wanted to say thanks to ZOS team

kill and loot any mob in murkmire for tickets model

takes like 10 seconds so i can enjoy the game instead of event grinding

it reduced my *omg event again...grind-grind-grind* frustration alot

What you said is still not true for everybody. Just because you've been lucky doesn't mean everybody is.

I don't mind it so much myself, but there are ways they could have made earning tickets easy that don't risk many players simply missing their tickets. That would have been vastly preferable.

events should bring happines and cool features and not frustration in any form

What were you doing in previous events that counted as grinding for tickets?

What "cool features" does this event have? It's literally the same content that's been in the game for a year and a half with a couple of extra drops tacked on.

To me that's the most frustrating thing about the "events" in this game. Maybe I've been lucky with the other MMOs I've played but to me a special event means new content, maybe new maps, mini games, event quests, things to actually do. We get a tiny bit of that with New Life where there's a handful of very short quests but other than that it's always the same stuff which is always available.

As a result I end up doing the absolute bare minimum to get the reward I want and then going back to the same stuff I'd normally be doing (either in ESO or a different game), because there is nothing else to do in the events.

It's not bad exactly, it's not like they've taken anything away, but it's disappointing when I see people hyping it up as if there's...well, anything, to be excited about and then it's a special chance to do what we've already done and could be doing again any day of the year.

The RNG aspect was stupid. If you got tickets for your first kill of the day, that would have deserved the praise in the OP.

In fact, I got tickets on one of my first kills of the day. But by then I was progressing through the delve where my daily repeatable quest was, so I just kept going, and it was functionally like any other zone event for me.

Separately, I don't like Murkmire, I don't like the event rewards, etc., so I won't actually do much in the event once I've restored my ticket count to 12 after buying a berry. But that's just me ...

Edit: Wait. I'm in some big, active trading guilds, so getting to the delve in the first place involved little hassle. Maybe if I didn't have that transportation advantage I'd feel the difference more.

the new system too. It makes the event not feel like always having to wait on the overcrowded worldboss or camp a delve boss.

My technique of sitting by a delve boss and killing them for tickets worked without a hitch. Also there are slightly less farmers in Craglorn this week.

I love this event. On (xbox) NA, got several hackwing plumage I need for crafting.

On EU, I just got my tickets and left Murkmire again to do my dailies. Unlike on other days, this time now all resource nodes are available, as nobody fatms them, so you just can run around and collect masses of cornflowers, ore, wood etc.

It did for me too, but I'm not going to brag about that, considering people have spent 9 hours trying to get tickets, to no avail.

When I went there earlier, on PC EU, the entire place was devoid of nodes.

I, literally, only saw one node, the entire time I was there.

Were the grave stake and pet parts tradeable, and the event tix from first kill every day, sure. As it is, it's a rather clumsily designed method of getting event tix with a high chance of missing out, and the collectible part chase is an obvious push towards the crown store.

So no. It does not deserve congratulation. Be less easily pleased.

It took me a little over a half hour today, and that's because 1) Murkmire is VERY SMALL, and 2) Players everywhere are killing everything killable in a desperate attempt to get their tickets. I finally got mine off the beetle/hoarvor things, but I was starting to question how long it would take before they finally dropped.

Anyone actually wanting pet/memento from the fragments are seriously going to have to manage their high blood pressure, because this whole event definitely seems designed to make you rage quit....straight to their crappy cash shop.

Getting todays tickets was easygoing just as every other event but trying to get another box due to not getting an fragment in 1st just became to much work so idc for pet or other item anymore 2hrs of f%*k you your not getting ANYTHING was all it took for me to say f%/k it ill get my 12 tickets saved up for next event then be done here gg ZO$ you new system is KILLING IT LMFAO

🤣So many people are not getting tickets. Companies like this should not get praise for endlessly screwing up their game and refusing to fix old issues while continuously barfing out new updates.

Every event there is an issue. I dont even really care, I got my tickets from a WB but they would not drop off of anything else. I just think they should test things more before they put out these events, or updates, or patches, or whatever the case is. There is always a problem with something, and so many of the old problems never get fixed. I just cant see praising them for that. Maybe if the event went off without a hitch because they spent a week prior to it testing it *on all platforms.

Umm... getting the tickets was never the hard part in any event...

Last event Mayhem, you could at least sell the Style pages...

This event... Drop rate for Strongboxes is worst then Mayhem IC style pages and you cant even sell or trade them...

So If I understand correctly... you appreciate the fact that you need to grind 2 hours killing mobs to get 1 strong box that may not even have a fragment in it... right...

I mean, yeah there’s little chance you’ll get them without paying actual money for tickets, but at least they are what they say they are.

I actually like the World Bosses here. They both have clear, well thought out mechanics that don’t require stupid dps and can be solo’dif you play the mechanics (unlike some more recent ones). Although it’s quite funny watching them being obliterated instantly right now.

I like the delves, they’re very different and look great. But ultimately they’re delves and a bit dull after the first few run throughs.

I like the grappling stranglers.. it’s good they’ve expanded this idea into the grappling hook. It will be nice if they actually bother to implement that in Greyskull. I mean there was more grappling action in the prologue to Dragonhold than there was in the entire zone (almost as if the prologue was made after the zone itself).

I like the way this event has brought more players to Murkmire. That’s one good thing all events do, encourage players to go somewhere they might not have been. But the whole ‘you might get an event ticket.. if you’re lucky’ bollocks makes the whole thing substantially less fun once you get there.

Which is like the Murkmire state motto, “Murkmire, substantially less fun once you get here”.

I dont appreciate this event...its created a lot of animosity. This forum is full of people who feel they have wasted their game time searching for drops that are excessively rare. No consideration has been given to the small zone size and known lag issues. It's not a fun experience so far for anyone I've spoken to.

The fragments not being tradeable was what killed it for me. I won't be doing anything else for the event after I get my tickets back to 12 as it's impossible to buy all the parts of even one of the two event items with your daily tickets, and you aren't even guaranteed a part with your daily box...let alone a part you don't already have.

This "event" is complete trash.

I got my tickets and a strongbox both days right off the bat so yeah lucky me. Two motifs from daily boxes and one fragment. Others have not been so for some reason. I still don't think this event is very good honestly. Area is way to small, too many people in a zone and chests are just ridiculous rare that drop mostly junk. Not trying to be negative, just saying how it is. Events are much better when it's global or a bigger zone. This rng and super low drop rate is not encouraging to go into murkmire and deal with lag and disconnects.

One of my guild mates killed 5 delve bosses and 2 world bosses and he didn't get any tickets from that...

My "appreciation" of this event so far:

I killed a trash mob in a delve while doing Murkmire's daily quests and got tickets plus a box. Killed another mob a couple of minutes later n got another box... 2 boxes = 1 frag in one, trash in the other...

I kept playing for several hours, on different chars (6) doing writs and Murkmire's daily quests, and didn't get anything else...

So... 2 boxes in, let's say, 5 hours of gameplay.... If the drop ratio is going to be the same in the subsequent days, then players won't complete anything... Regardless if the players put some effort on this event or not...

Besides this... To aggravate some player's odds, U25 kicks in next Monday...

Wasn't grinding for tickets but gathering some of the motiffs was a huge pain in the ass.

I got the two strongboxes but no fragments in them ;( I tried to farm more killing adds, harvesting everything in sight but no luck, alas.
