How do you Deal with Events in Zones you haven't been to? Like the upcoming Murkmire Celebration?

I do Zone by Zone for my character and I am no where near Murkmire...

I dont want to spoil the Exploration just for the event....

I was thinking of parking a character in Murkmire with Votan Darker Nights addon settings on night mode at least while getting my tickets not to see the lands...

Any tips how Is it possible to do the event and still get the event tickets with minimal exploration and content spoiling?

Probably park by a boss on one toon and just camp there until you have your daily tickets

Regular mobs are supposed to have a decent chance of dropping tickets, so you could stick close to the first town and hope to get lucky.

There's a world boss close to the Blackrose Prison Wayshrine if you want boss kills. You could ask someone to port you to that particular Wayshrine.

Just go to the first town and kill mobs by it until you get your ticket. Minimal exploration.

The fastest and easiest way to get tickets without spoiling anything is to buy your tickets via the crown store.

Honestly I feel you on that one. I like doing the story zone by zone too so having a celebration in an area I've yet to get to drives me nuts.
I'd just do what January1171 said. Park it by the closest boss and try to ignore the world around you till its over then gtfo.

You don't have to pick up any quests. You could do Blackrose Prison and world bosses and still maintain you timeline

I don't mind seeing things out of order myself, but I do have a set order I want to do stuff on most of my characters. I get around it by having some characters where I'm not as strict about that. My crafter goes wherever to get materials and find set crafting stations, and his back story involves going all over Tamriel anyway so none of it is new to him, plus he doesn't do much questing, so it's relatively easy to justfy him dropping what he's doing to go and camp a boss now and again.

But there's also my dragon knight who I made mainly to learn tanking, so she mainly does dungeons and in between does all kinds of things for levelling and practice. But maybe more importantly her backstory is basically that she struck out on her own as a mercenary and also she's wildly impulsive, definitely the kind of person who would hear about a new oppertunity on the other side of the world and just go.

If you also want to avoid seeing as much of the DLC as possible yourself I recommend finding a spot somewhere you can just camp a few enemies and farm them for tickets. It might be hard to find somewhere which isn't already camped by someone else, but I think you're fairly safe to head out a bit from the starting town without accidentally running into anything important for the story.

Having already been bouncing back & forth across the timeline/storyline since 1 Tamriel, I don't worry about it.

Ignore. I'm sick of this marketing leash. I prefer to "play however I want" to.

I feel the same often, however for this event i was luckly as not long ago i made a Argonian and i have started doing the questing in the area as a "before he gets killed" story.

its actually quite fun to do those thing sometimes its why i wish we could choose our starting area like start in classic/morrowind/summerset ect

I ignore them. I also ignore when I start a new toon and zos tries to force me to skip to the end of the story and play it backwards. I just teleport back to the starting zone and try to play in order so I can get some semblance of continuity. They don't make it easy, but I try.

I just didn't take part in the event. There's always events going. Missing this one or the ones before you started playing, they both are the same thing to me. I start taking part in events later.

Just join in for world boss dailies. Doesn't interfere with your zone questing, and you get to collect the zone's motifs.

You could create an alt and park it by the world boss near the wayshrine and just kill that over and over until you have your tickets.

Or you could ask a guildie to port you into one of the delves and just kill mobs in there. You can even spare yourself from killing the boss so you don't get completion for that.

Honestly, both of the world bosses and both the delves (which the dailies require you to do) do NOT involve the main questline.

When I first did them before doing the Murkmire questline, I thought they did due to certain enemies inside them. But I did the main quest and the enemies weren't addressed lol so. You're safe to do the world boss and delve quests as long as you just focus on those
