This year's prepurchase mount is so boring

I just bought the expansion today.
The mount looks like 1 of the crappy ones from stable master.
Anyone else feel the same?

Got to agree with op on this one. I got on the horse, looked at it for 10 seconds and thought "nar" not used it since.

I love the stable mounts.... I personally much prefer the plainer mounts tbh.....

I like how the horse has horseshoes though, but the only thing stopping me from using it full time is those horns on the helmet. Wish they were apart of the stamina upgrade so I could hide them.

I generally prefer more realistic mounts like this, but the OP's point stands - it's not incredibly different from the basic bought in-game from stable mounts.

On the other hand I like to both try to match my mount to my character and outfit and also the current zone I'm in. This one looks perfect for Skyrim. For a range of reasons I'm not tempted to pre-order so will likely never have this one but if I did I'd probably use it on snowy maps.

The meat hound mount for the collector's edition is a different matter. Yikes! The zombie horse was bad enough and I almost never see that in game so seemingly others agree.

This is the first time I've looked at the CE for one of the big DLCs and don't see anything at all I might at least use if not actually want.

This is a decent mount with some slightly unconventional yet completely plausible armour.

Let go of the flash. Let go of the sparkles.

Embrace the dark side. Or in this case, the beige side.

Regular horses, camels and guar are the best and only real mounts.

I love the preorder mount, it looks "normal" enough to fit my characters.
I absolutely hate the flashy mounts and pets we usually get. If I want flashy mounts, I'd play EQ/EQ2, WoW or something like that.

For me, the only worthy mount for pre-order was Nightmare senche - it was the only reason I pre-ordered Summerset back then

This year has extremely weak reward for pre-order. The horse itself looks ok, it's rather simple and has some new body model. But those little Dragonborn horns were not needed at all, in my opinion I wish the pre-order horse at least had same cool armor as Legion Zero horse I've pre-ordered upcoming chapter only cause I don't have time to wait for future discount, and the Jarl costume looks very good in preview.

So much this. It seems like 90% of the mounts in this game are incredibly flashy and immersion-breaking and they look like damn skittles.

It's so nice to get a normal looking mount every once in a while.

I have no idea how many people (Forza aside) have actually pre-ordered.

What I do know is that I haven’t seen anyone riding this horse. Anywhere in Tamriel.

These pre-order rewards are almost uniformly the least interesting, poorly reskinned mounts available. They’re leagues behind the money making Crown mounts. Really the least imaginative, most banal and predictable items they could have used as rewards.

Absolutely no inducement to purchase.

I like it. If it wasn't for the big horns on the head armour I'd love it.

It's nice to see normal immersive mount and not a purple neon wannabee My Little Pony or some other eyesore.
It even got a new horse model, which is the first one I think looks nice with decent proportions!

I don’t like it, either. So far I haven’t pre-ordered, although the horse is far from the only reason. Nothing about the new chapter sounds appealing to me. YMMV.

I prefer the simpler mounts over the rest. I still use the black and brown horses you get from the stables

I like it, but I only tend to ride Senches and Wolves, so it will only be used for decorating houses.

While it is great that there are many pretty, shiny detailed designs out there. There needs to be equally the same amount, if not more in ugly, rustic and plain designs.

This makes the more unique styles stand out, while reaching across and offering more personalized tastes allowing a deeper connection; immersion to take hold with ugly, rustic and plain/basic designs.

I have about 17 mounts. Only have and will ever use four.

Wild Hunt Guar for my Warden
Storm Atronach Bear for my Sorc.
Eerie Elk of Dread for my Necromancer
Holdbreaker Warhorse now for my Templar

Mainly cause they are very well done, as well basic in their designs for being more unique among the other unique mounts. Not to include that fit specific their classes incredibly well versus those of similar designs.

Have to agree. Even trying to avoid all the magical nonsense and the majority of the mounts I currently have are magical nonsense that I will never use. Currently more Fast and Furious mounts in game than the normal realistic mounts.

It's the first pre-order mount I like. I don't even remember what the others were and I have all of them.
