What are the best trader locations on Xbox NA? I think Mournhold is the best. Basically Im trying to trim my trading guilds from 3 to at least 2 but am not sure which to drop. Im currently in Mournhold, Alinor, and Belkarth but am looking to change it up potentially. What are the best trader locations in your opinion?

I don’t do alot of trading but i do alot of shopping and its always starts in Mournhold and goes to Belkarth next. If i cannot find what im looking for at those spots I usually can’t find it anywhere.

For me, in order, if I'm searching for something:

    Mournhold
    Rawl'kha
    Belkarth
    Grahtwood
    Wayrest

If I'm looking for a good deal on less materials I'll go to the random wayshrine traders. Usually some good finds there.

Your nerf suggestion is dumb. Learn to counter other players instead of having the game rebuilt to your ability level.

mournhold is number one. I had one in each of the three main cities and the stuff at Mournhold sold twice as fast. I would probably drop Alinor - i think it will die when expansion comes out. People hang out in belkarth because it seems to be the place to go to get into a pug trial.

    Mournhold (Deshaan)
    Wayrest (Stormhaven)
    Rawl'kha (Reapers March)

The first two I'm about 95% certain on, and I just assume the third one because the town is always super busy. I suppose Belkarth in Craglorn could also be right up there in #3.

    My shopping order goes:

    Mournhold
    Grahtwood
    Wayrest

If I haven't found whatever it is I am looking for by then ... depending on how bored of scrolling I am I either give it up or start going off the beaten track ... I might hit Riften or Windhelm, ... in the old days I would have hit Belkarth right after Mournhold but not so much any more.

Ah yes, forgot about Elden Root in Grahtwood. People seem to love or hate that place, but it can be very busy as well.

It depends on what sorts of things you sell.

To use an example, ESO Grand Designs tends to have their trader set up in Malabal Tor. Since they are a housing guild, they tend to have a lot of furnishing plans and finished pieces. If I am specifically looking for housing things, I visit Malabal Tor first to check their trader. If that entire trading area was full of housing-specialized vendors, I would love it even more.

The lack of trader specialization is something that has bothered me for as long as I've participated in the system. To me, it seems like a no-brainer that you would want to specialize your trading guild to carry certain types of items. This makes it significantly easier for buyers to figure out where to shop to obtain what they are looking for. If I wasn't aware of how much work it is to run a guild, I would start something like that up myself because I really, really want it in the game. Regardless, if you work up a reputation for specializing in something people will find you no matter where you are because it is a huge time saver.

I tend to start in Wayrest when looking for something. It seems to have slightly lower prices than the other major trader hubs. I generally base my pricing on what things are listed for here.

My second location if Wayrest doesn't have it is Rawl'kha. I hardly ever buy here, however, as if it isn't in Wayrest, it probably isn't in Rawl'kha.

If I can't find it anywhere else, I will head to Mournhold. You usually pay a premium but it's worth not having to travel to all the out of the way trading locations.

The Hollow City and Riften are good places to look for bargains but often searches come back empty in those places.

I prefer this aura of mysticism with console traders. It is nice to go hunting for some diamond-in-the-rough items at a great price that other players might not know about (or can see via an add-on). I guess it has it's pros and cons, as I could theoretically be paying more for an item without even knowing.
