PC switch off gamepad UI?

Hi,
Could we just have an option to use a controller without the controller UI?
We are no longer going to be able to scale it and I personally switch off the gamepad UI anyway via "Advanced Disable Controller" addon.
This Addon hasn't been updated since Elsweyr and is pretty buggy at this point. I'm not sure it will be unusable in the next patch.
I have no idea how difficult it would be to achieve, but I'm sure it would make a lot of PC users happy given the changes in the next patch.
