I like Emeric far more as a leader than Ayrenn. Simply because the fact that she basically does nothing wrong and all her decisions seem best.

Emeric, however, has some good character building. You see him at his worst in Stormhaven and then recover from that defeat. Unlike Ayrenn, he makes mistakes.

It might be just me, but it seems like the DC leaders are more equal in stature in their respective alliances than the rest of the leaders.

her entire nation seems to be against here, to the point where half the reason she is not ruling from summerset is because its too dangerous for her to stay in the same place for too long at the threat of assassination.. and she does nothing wrong. you have a very strange idea of nothing wrong.

she is flawed as heck, pushy, rash, and so single minded that she doesn't notice anything strange about people closest to her, until its too late. the only reason her decisions don't backfire even more is that she was smart enough to surround herself with capable people, including the proxy queen which I will bet you a LOT - tempers Ayreen's decrees whenever necessary, just enough so that they don't cause even more of an incident with the rest of the Altmer. HER OWN FAMILY tries to depose her and... apparently she is is not recovering from anything and things totally work out for her all the time...

Emeric is probably a better leader, but he is also a horrible husband... which in a way makes him a more interesting character than he originally comes across. but that's the thing - Emeric has things go his way as well. bad things happen to other people. I was almost bored to tears by him, before I started paying attention a bit more TBH.
    dirty worthless casual.

So you want to take the one thing that's actually interesting about Ayrenn...

    Her wildly misshapen head?
