Can we get an option to have nameplates show [email protected]?

Currently the game options lets you choose one or the other but not both.

If anyone knows of an addon that does this it would be appreciated.

Also, since a lot of people confuse it with something else, nameplates are the names shown above characters. Not something in the HUD.

It does show both. There's an option in Settings > Interface > Heads up Display to choose which one is shown first, but no way to show just one without using addons.

Are you sure you're not using an addon which hides one? I know Azurah does this, and there might be others too? If you're not sure try turning all your addons off and then targetting another player - you should see both names (don't worry, your settings are saved, you can turn them on again straight after).

Here's what I see with all my addons turned off. I've blurred out part of the names because this was just some random who happened to be nearby, obviously they're readable in-game.

Yeah. I wasn't in-game earlier, but I noticed later that I also see both, plus title. They're below each other, so not quite the format OP asked for... But it does give you both.
I always just use the default settings for Nameplates, so whatever those are so the trick.

The OP is talking about the nameplate that hovers above people's heads. Not the one under the compass. The hovering one only shows one or the other.

Oh I see. To be honest I tend to forget those exist, I don't think I've ever turned them on.

I can't see an option in the menu to show both names, but beyond that I have no idea.

I think I need to just keep my fingers off this thread because this time I knew exactly what OP meant and still managed to get it wrong through sheer idiocy of forgetting Nameplates are a completely different color.

Thanks for replies, seems like there isn't such an addon.

Would this even be possible, does ESO let addons change the nameplates. It's kinda weird there already isn't some addon for this.

I think account name should only be visible to friends and guild Mates, otherwise it enables very easy stalking.

Not really? If they can't see your @ name they can only attack the one character, and they wouldn't be the wiser if you changed the name or characters.

Anywho, I don't think there is an add-on for that, I know there is one for custom titles, but not this. Admittedly I only use like four add-ons at any given time, six if I'm crafting or selling

Not really? If they can't see your @ name they can only attack the one character, and they wouldn't be the wiser if you changed the name or characters.
