I mean, you need to have some serious level of addiction to find "playing" like this enjoyable.

Okay, so... Addons/Mods? Like all my addons for ESO are local so they can't be on Geforce Now. I assume the ones I am subscribed to for ES5 on Steam would work, but the ones I made myself are local as well won't show up.

And Stadia can't even do that, even if ESO was on it.

So sad. Don't need to buy rebuy games, use existing games. Half price of monthly fee. So glad I didn't get into the Stadia hype. I almost did. Community members here helped me when I asked if Stadia would be good for ESO.

Thank you ESO community. You have helped me save money and not get it. Would have been pissed if I did.

Try it on a pc, and hey, just pick a race, and do everything in the untraditional style, a Salad loving Bosmer, animal protector, that thinks people-meat is entirely to sweet, make a Dunmer who suspects they're half khajiit, don't believe in the Divines, suspect theyre not real gods they just killed one that happened to be their best friend, and free slaves galore, play a khajiit like yourself, or an Argonian as a slavetrader? And do it on pc, with addons and keyboard+mouse :)

I dare you not to still be playing in a couple years if you actually make the most of it ^^

In theory it's pretty cool that you're able to run a PC game on your phone while away from home. But I'm not sure it would be practical to play that way, surely there would be a lot of lag and I imagine the battery would run down pretty quickly.

I could only see myself doing this if I really didn't want to miss the login rewards and I was going to be away from home a lot that month. Anything more than that I think would get irritating with such a tiny screen and probably a lot of latency.

Agreed. I always take care of my posessions, especially electronics which would be expensive to replace. The Gameboy Colour I had when I was 12 still works. But one mis-step on a dodgy curbstone in the dark when I was using Google Maps and I have a cracked phone screen. The £100+ I've been quoted to fix it doesn't seem worth while for purely cosmetic damage, I'd rather put the money towards something more useful.

And if I get snide comments about not taking care of my stuff so be it. At least it's stopped the snide comments about how other people can't follow my suggestions with their phones because they don't have "an expensive top-of-the-line phone like that". I don't either, I have a refurbished Samsung A3, I just learned how to use it and apparently look like the kind of person who would buy all the latest tech.

Playing with a controller would be bad enough, but on a tiny screen and with Extra Bonus Lag? Meh, no thanks.

Admittedly there are few situations where someone would want to play ESO like this, it’s very cool to know that it works. It could be useful for people to get login rewards and hireling mails, maybe roster management or guild bank deposits. I don’t think anyone would find it viable for much actual playtime, but handy in a pinch.

    Thanks for sharing.

I drop my phone all the time. which is why I have a case on it, that has front cover and a little wrap that goes around the wrist (I still drop it, but not as often as without that little wrap). it wasn't an expensive case, i think i paid like.. $6 on ebay? i don't remember as its been a while, I replace my phones only when then they get super sluggish and annoying to use and I've had my current phone for 3 years running now.

its not about living bubblewrap lives, you know. taking care of your possessions = having to replace them less often = having to worry about replacing stuff and having more time and money left over for fun experiences, etc.

what battery drain? this is just video. so the battery drain is similar to reading a newspaper. latency? i press space i jump. this is insane for single player.

you press jump - it jumps. you need nothing more for single player eso. pvp with this would be like pulling a barbed wire out of your nose...
