@Tranquilizer, please be aware that this guy is trolling or running some pretty unusual build.UppGRAYxDD wrote: »Magplar: Bone pirate arcane jewelry... gonna need the stam to have a decent stun via turn evil...
Well, yeah, but those sets, not Bone Pirate, and I don't get the point of Turn Evil. Yes, it goes through block, but Toppling Charge is so effective, these days, I've even seen some stamplars use it.He does have a point about stam sustain. Personally I find Altmer hands down the best magplar race, just because of the reduce damage while channeling and stamina sustain. If you’re a Breton you’ll need amber plasm or shacklebreaker.

On my magsorc I’m a wood elf so have great stamina sustain, even using dark exchange. It’s sorta fun playing a dodge rolly magsorc too:
Dodge roll and streak debuff lasts 4 seconds which is the same duration as mist form, and dark exchange continues to return mag while in mist form. You can make a really trolly magsorc with a wood elf.

I tried it on my stamblade (when she was a stamblade) and found it strangely lacklustre. Something about it being a rune on the ground, combined with the speed I move at, seeemed to make it less effective than Mass Hysteria for me.Well, yeah, but those sets, not Bone Pirate, and I don't get the point of Turn Evil. Yea, most stam I see don’t use turn evil. That’s why S&B is so popular.

Magplar has the best stun in the game from Toppling Charge

Magplar has the best stun in the game from Toppling Charge
Toppling Charge is single target, can be both blocked and dodged, and isn't really aimed in chaotic fights (I've been playing around on Templar for the first time in ages recently, and have somehow charged pets that were behind me and not even visible on my screen when I activated the ability). Streak is very much superior, and other CC's are in at least some situations as well. For instance, Dizzy Swing -> Medium Attack is a stun that's off the global cooldown, which can be a big deal when trying to execute a burst combo. That will still work next patch as well, you just won't have it ready to go every 6 seconds like you do now.
While I'll say that Toppling Charge is certainly a solid ability, it's by no means the "best stun in the game."
