Pet not attacking

Noticed on each stage of trials that my bear is not attacking. So I started removing before I entered the next stage and then activating it. That works but I still wonder why it happens just in trials.

I think the bear can still be commanded to attack like sorc pets with the Y key on pc at least. Do you mean its not responding to that or its not aggroing on things that attack you?

Not aggroing things that i`m attacking or attacking me, it just stands there.

If you recalled your pet holding Y and pressing right-click, the Bear won't attack new target until you initiate heavy attack.
But it's a Bear, it has problems since release. It often won't attack dragons in Sunspire for example.

But in all the trials it won`t attack, if I release it before I enter the next stage and then revive it in the next stage it will attack what ever i`m attacking automatically.

I have not experienced this in all trials, but some like MoL.

For trials you experience this get in the habit of unsummoning the pet and re-summon it in the next room. There will be specific places it happens so note them.

I doubt it gets fixed unless you are experiencing something new.

Ok Thanks, just didn`t know if this was a remote problem or were others experiencing the same problems.

One thing, your Pet, not your character or camera, usually has to have Line of Sight for the most consistent engagement of the mobs or boss.

It has been a while since i ran pets, but I remember this being an issue.

Honestly in some cases dropping the bear in trials is for the best. Yes you loose some potential max DPS but it’s got issues in delivering that missing dummy DPS and ignores bloodthirsty. Often a more bursty ultimate with all damage getting BT fits some trial encounters better. Still slot bear front bar for passive.

Though you need it if running master architect/war machine.
