I'm sure I met requirements for a bat pet. Yet no bat and no letter about it. Should I start to panic or I'm not alone?

lately I've logged in for the stables and participated in one guild event.

I did not watch any stream and I don't even have twitch account and even if I had I as a rule never link any accounts with any other accounts and still got the letter and presumably just checked I got the the pet.

You had to have killed something that gave exp (not a player, not a blade of woe kill) in a certain timeframe. That was the only requirement.

I was not getting this bat too, but when I opened Crown Store in-game, all of the sudden I got the bat pet. I Don't know if this was a coincidence or I somehow triggered it.

Same here No bat, no letter, nothing in the crown store. I'll see what happens by tomorrow. As far as a support ticket that's a waste of time.

Here is the relevant portion of the official announcement with its requirements for the bat:

'For hitting 80,000 concurrent viewers during our Dark Heart of Skyrim global announcement stream, we're giving all ESO players the Long-Winged Bat pet. To qualify, simply log into the game and kill any enemy monster any time between January 16, 2020 at 12:00 AM EST and January 22, 2020 at 11:59 PM EST.
As long as you qualify, you’ll receive your Long-Winged Bat pet by the first week of February. It’ll be added to your Collections automatically.'

I met the requirements and got an e-mail telling me I got the bat. Went into game and there it was in my collections with an in game notification (chat box).

For @eso_lags I think the e-mail is the 'letter' some folks are talking about.

I don't recall the exact thread but when folks were beginning to get their bats, one of the ZOS folks popped into the thread saying the bats were being issued over several days so don't panic if there was a delay. I'm not quite sure how long one should wait before submitting a ticket. I guess after 'the first week of February' is over.

You will get an email when you get the bat. In-game, a notification briefly appears, but no in-game mail is included.

I thought the above was for console players as they are currently unable to link their accounts, or has that been resolved?

I was under the impression that if you were on PC you had to watch the stream with your account linked to Twitch and Bethesda, if the viewership reached 80k across all platforms, which it did, then you received the bat pet.

    Did the goalposts change?

I don't know, but here is what I do know:
I don't have or do Twitch. I play on PC NA. I got the bat.

My thinking is that as long as 80k watched the stream on Twitch, all players who met the 'log in and kill something' in the specified time window requirement got the bat.

console players have been able to link twitch accounts since november 5, so yes, its been resolved for a while. goalposts were not changed, its not the first time requirement to kill something or do some other in game action in order to get a reward was across all platforms.
