Battlegrounds seems totally broken (more so than normal)

So today I thought I'd show my friend who is new to the game some BG's. He is trying to level up to 160cp so he can start collecting his end game gear. I suggested a few BG's just for fun and to earn him some xp. Oh boy was I embarrassed for the game. First BG we loaded into we had 3 on our team, one of the enemy teams had about 8 players and the other 4 or 5. We got steam rolled. Then we tried another BG, it loaded me into a match but without my friend, who had basically just been kicked out of the group. I was alone. It then popped up for a new BG while I was in that empty match. So I accepted that. It loaded me into the new match, still without my friend. But this time I had a leaver penalty while still inside the BG!

This time it was just 2 of us on the green team, the other side had 4 each. We lost.

Put it this way, my friend was not impressed and suggested we go back to questing or dungeons.

Battle grounds are in a terrible state at the moment. I know this is nothing new, but wow it's really got so much worse recently. How hard can it be for them to fix this really?

This is one match I was in.

Edit: My team is just myself. Nobody dropped. I spawned myself. No one else joined.

Sorry for your situation. Honestly, why don't just kick extra players and make it at least 3v3v3 battle. It would be honest fight.

I logged to do some BGs after a week... 6 min of wait time and its 1(my team ofc)v4v3.

Edit: 4 minutes into game - no chance for comeback and it joined 2 members to my group so its 3v4v3

I didn't feel guilt or shame. Just embarrassed slightly because here is me trying to big up the game, trying to encourage him to get involved in the PVP side of the game and it just looks like a total shambles.

you both should certainly try below 50 bgs and face 50lvl players there to wholly feel the miserable state of eso

And that issue will be moot when they remove premade queues as part of Update 25 in the hopes of fixing the uneven teams.
