A guild she was in used facebook groups to manage the guild, after having a falling out with a member, pettiness ensued. Scale was not worth mentioning, but could have escalated to something worse.

So this has me thinking, Isnt it about time we get a proper in game guild tools package? Like full overhaul so that managing and participating effectively in a competitive endgame guild can be done entirely from within the game? The tools and features available in eso for guilds are in general less then suficient, and as result people use other networks for guild and community; discord, band, facebook etc.

We dont have trial scheduling or signups
We dont have team organization.
Recruiting system is finally available but is lack luster, and a lot of people arent even aware its a thing.

Are there any plans for this already being worked on?
Are there any features you would want in the event of such an overhaul?

    All good ideas.

Also, a CALENDAR, not to check date, but Guild Calendar.
Where you can post events on certain dates and people can sign up.

in my guild it works pretty well with discord and guilded.gg

but i agree the responsibility should be on zos to provide ingame tools.

but as with addons, they rely on the community fixing their shortcomings :#

Let's start with helping people find a guild. Text search for name and description.
And the members count should instead be "Members online now" because these supposedly active members might not have logged in for a month. And people shouldn't bother joining a 500-strong guild that only has 100 active members, and only 5 of them are on during the time windows they are playing.

While situations like this should never happen in a civilization of grown mature adults the sad reality is we are more a society of poo slinging apes who haven't realized the banana was eaten days ago by the dog.

This kind of thing might better be served by an app developer. Think about how EVE online groups occasionally do in house tools for their "guilds". It wouldn't be too hard for an intermediate student to make a linked calendar app.

You can use safer apps to run your guilds more effectively then ZoS would ever create something.

Also, with the bots you can customize in a lot of apps, it is really easier then ever to keep things updated. Plus, it is automated for guild members.

Just be smart with your personal information. Boop
