Ok, I am 'slightly' mad right now, cause I spend 200 crown gems on the New Moon Sword from the New Moon crates and now we get EXACTLY THE SAME SWORD to earn ingame for free? WTF?

yeah i thought the same thing that this was a weird decision...bit of a douchy move as i have all of those... maybe they decided afterwards...but i think it would be fair to for example reduce the price for the motif to those who have the outfit styles or refund half their cost when you get the motif pages or something

There IS the possibility that the versions from the Crown Crate will count towards the full motif once it's available.

They kind of did it with the Pyandoneaon stuff in the Psijic Crates.

Of course the issue would be that while the Bow, Shield, and Staff could translate over to the motif, we only got the 1h Sword and 2h Hammer from the Crates and not the 2h Sword and 1h Hammer. Unless they retroactively unlock the missing counterparts, those motif fragments would almost certainly have be a duplicate.

I am curious as to how we'll unlock the New Moon Priest motif in general. Shields of Senchal will definitely be the reward for the Senchal dailies that already exist, but where could they add this Motif to Dragonhold?

Honestly, considering it costs 1,000 Gems to collect the five pieces that were in the Crates, they should unlock the entire Motif for people that got all of them.

evenif that happens the individual crate pieces are way way way more expensive than how much a motif usually is in crowns or gems...

Just add some particle effect like undauted armpack to the crate one (they are the "prenium" one) and leve the motif one bland would be a good solution

The Motif said that it's available in the Dragonhold Daily chest in the Sanctum, but in order to unlock that chest, you have to do 30 dailies first.

@Nemesis7884 I can confirm I received the New Moon Priest swords motif from the Dragonguard supply box on the PTS. I imagine it's only a chance not a guaranteed drop every day.

thx - on pts meaning its not yet on live but an upcoming option?

does this chest refill automatically every day (once you reach the 30) or only after you do a dragon daily?

I expect the New Moon Priest and Shields of Senchal motifs to be added on live with the next dungeon DLC in 4-5 weeks.

The chest refreshes every day (once per account). Once you unlock it by fully upgrading the Dragonguard Sanctum (30 quests completed), there are no further requirements to loot it each day.
