With the free eso+ trial happening rn I'm researching jewelry traits, once the trial ends can I use a transmute station in my house to change traits on items even tho I don't own any dlc?

You can use the stations in people’s homes.

Edit: Misread that. I believe you can unlock the traits for transmuting but you obviously can’t unlock further traits. I’m not sure if you have to complete the research before the trial ends either.

You could use transmute stations anyway even without clockwork.
Pretty sure jewelry crafting is also unlocked for eternity but i might be wrong on this one.

Jewelry crafting itself requires Summerset. I'm uncertain about how that impacts transmutation.

You don't need the DLC for Clockwork City to get the Transmute station. You can buy your own Transmute station from Guild Traders or the Master Writ merchant woman (can't remember her name) with Vouchers.

Then just put it in your house and have at it. But you will need Summerset DLC to unlock Jewelry Crafting skill line.

You can also use anyone's Transmute station if they give you access.

Actually it's Rolis Hlaalu who has the Transmute Station, for 1250 writ vouchers. Faustina Curio has some plans etc. and the storage coffers.

I know I need ss to use jewelry station but with the eso+ trial I'm quickly unlocking the traits, will I be able to transmute jewelry from a trans station after eso+ is gone?

I think( May be wrong) that jewelry crafting is like any other dlc skill line. Once you have it, you have it. Again, I could be entirely wrong since it was a chapter.

If you know the traits, yes, you can transmute.

Ye but theoretically Summerset is part of eso+, so i would assume it works like thieves guild and dark brotherhood, that after you unlock the skill line you can use it.
