We're at the last fight of the Octofinals! Will the Gold Coast bring the hammer down on Southern Elsweyr? Or will Southern Elsweyr smash the Gold Coast's anvil? YOU DECIDE!
The lineup and current standing of all contenders can be found here, so people can keep track of the overall action.

Cloudtrader✭✭✭Gold CoastOh, this is really, really tough. I adore both these zones. I think I may perhaps like the Dark Brotherhood storyline just a teensy bit more, so I'm voting that way, but it was basically a toss up.

✭Gold CoastThis one is really tough, because Southern Elsweyr is beautiful visually and I especially like the fauna there... but Gold Coast just gives off so much Oblivion nostalgia, and DB is one of my favourite Overland/questing things ever, so I guess it has to be Gold Coast.This poor little Bosmer stealth passive had passionate friends and a big loving family! -

TiaFrye✭✭✭✭✭Gold CoastI do like story and characters in SE, a lot, but since it was a little bit mossy version of NE (lazy asset re-use detected), I'm with the Gold Coast this time around. Imperial architecture is glorious and much welcome outside of PVP Cyro. Love it. Story aside from being quite typical DB plot is also nice I guess. -

Bekkael✭✭✭✭✭Southern ElsweyrI don’t really have a wicked character, so Gold Coast was never much fun and Dark Brotherhood is rather grindy. Especially when I compare the locations to TES Oblivion, it falls short for me.
I like the heroic story conclusion of Southern Elsweyr, and the zone is interesting and quite pretty to traverse. I loved the quest with the painted stones, among others.~~ Lady Gamer ~~ ♥ ~~ Xbox NA ~~ -

✭Gold CoastThe nostalgia is too hard to beat. Even though Morrowind was my first TES game, and I still sunk hundreds of hours into it, Oblivion has a special place in my heart. The visual jump was like a quantum leap, and that draw distance was mind blowing for the time. Which I suppose makes ESO's lack of a proper draw distance wonderfully ironic
I passed the castle bridge in ESO's Anvil last week and immediately thought of the Grey Fox. And seeing Kvatch standing always gets me. ZOS did a fantastic job with recreating this zone

✭Southern ElsweyrIf I'm being honest, neither are my thing. I adore the Dark Brotherhood, but wasn't really a fan of the Gold Coast's environments, I hate mosquitoes, and I thought the DB quest line was meh. I love Khajiit, but I thought Southern elsewhere was forgettable and I still feel betrayed about not getting Tenmar forest.
Ultimately I thought Southern Elsweyr was prettier, so I went with that. -

Gold Coast all the way. it remains one of my favourite zones and where I spend a great deal of my time, to kick out dailly quests, craft and hang out.
Dark Bro'hood. Kvatch Arena. These alone are enough.
It also looks beautiful and has good story lines. Both Delvs are enjoyable & fast, as Delvs go. The houses available are also of a very high standard.

✭Southern ElsweyrSouthern Elsweyr. I like the look of it, very colorful, and both main and side quest are intersting as are the NPCs. For Gold Coast it looks somewhat drab and the DB quest felt like an attempt to rehash the DB questis Skyrim, but without knowing why the Skyrim version worked so it all ends up feeling rather meaningless. -

I love the Gold Coast for the landscape (maybe my favourite region in Tamriel), I love Anvil - and I WANT MY HOUSE BACK ! (Looking at you, stupid bank in future Benirus Manor !) Sweet Oblivion nostalgia.
But... There wasn't much to do there in ESO. And I hate the stupid Dork Brotherhood assassin crap.
Southern Elsweyr is beautiful as well. It has some more quests, and the Dragonguard, and more things and stories Khajiit. (Love them ever since the Reaper's March questline.)
