Any Updates on Midyear Mayhem?

Has there been any announced dates, or is it likely to be canceled again? It was canceled last year and as someone who does both PVP and PVE, I always seem to feel like the PVP end of events seems to be lacking. There's always a PVE event, whether seasonally or just like the undaunted one.
But it feels like there's been less and less PVP events, and when they do happen. (Such as the last one in cyro/bgs, can't recall the name) there's a ton of whining that people (ironically.) Go to open world PVP in cyro and get killed. (Such as in the form of hate-whispering, forum threads a plenty, and zone chat woes.) While I can understand not everyone is a PVP player, if you go into allotted zones for PVP, well.. Expect it?
That's just my outlook, I'm really looking forward to grinding out midyear mayhem, and I have to get the collectibles on PC, just would be very disappointed if it's canceled again.
