Are these achievements bugged? I've been playing since launch and still not come across some of these drops.

Have seen hundreds of "Chattering Skulls" though, do some of the items not drop from enemies anymore? Missing the likes of Polished shell shards off mudcrabs (killed a huge amount of them over the years, have the chitin ingredient to prove it

So do I give up trying to get these achievements?

RNG is a fickle mistress indeed.

I've started actively trying to farm the drops I've never gotten in my 4 years of playing. It's been an interesting experience. Alcast's trophy-hunting guide has been quite helpful for finding good grinding locations. But you're still at the mercy of randomness. I've spent 6-8 hours on one drop with nothing to show for it (wamasu, grrrr), and in other cases I'll get what I need (or in some cases two or three things I need) within an hour or two of starting a grinding session.

It's similar to fishing, I guess, except more labor-intensive. I am down to only 5 missing trophies now, though.
