1. Surface Skyrim zone with a large explorable Blackreach area
2. SPEARS
3. A Magicka Weapon skill line
4. Spellcrafting or something just as groundbreaking
5. Combat pet customization options

Story
- Falmer story & history
- More Nord Dragon Cult history
- Interesting Dolmen activity
- Great side quests

If it’s Bethesda/ZeniMax marketing it’s almost certainly nothing lol. How many times do people have to be burned by their lies? Seriously lol. The fact that the parent company is taking a more direct hand has me very very worried.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think the last time Pete Hines joined them for an announcement was when ESO went B2P? Or was it the first Chapter, Morrowind? In any case, his presence probably means that they have to announce something bigger.

Maybe ESO will finally go F2P, lol.

Maybe ESO vanilla will become F2P. The base game is so cheap that ZOS dont have any profit from it.

I doubt that is going to happen. Many players would likely be against it. They do f2p weekends sometimes, the buy to play model works they still get money from it. Even if the base game is cheaper. Plus they have that chapter system they use to get more money. Why do you think they went that route? No they won't go free to play I think they will keep doing the chapter thing every year as long as they can before even considering it. Even then they might keep the buy to play model. Even if the game costs ten dollars. They still make profits off it.

The issues that would come with a free to play would be horrible for Eso like for example Bots they will be able to really do damage again and have the ability to spam chat channels again because they wouldn't have to pay anything for accounts. Performance will likely get even worse as more players flood the game and this is why I'm against it. Fine without the required subscription glad they removed that but still I think it needs to remain buy to play with optional subscription.

I expect new story content for the new zone/s, and I am sure this will happen.
I don't expect (but want) new story content added to existing zones, and I am sure this will not happen. At least not above 'plant-a-new-chapter-NPC-at-an-old-location-and-have-them-say-a-thing-or-two' level.

Skyrim is just boring... another generic viking/norse theme zone only surpassed by generic Cyro in TES IV.

TES games have always had a rich mythology beyond western tradition. Anyway since Netflix put its money on Witcher series, I bet ZoS will try something similar to catch people eyes...

On the other hand, if the gives us Atmora... gosh... that would be the coolest (pun intended) patch they'll ever make...

stable FPS the game needs to run at 60 fps no matter what or how many players are spamming I had one week with 90 fps best week ever in game
champion points overhaul.
magic melee weapon line
the year of new beta needs to end and this chapter release needs to end it

I expect the story line is that the vestige is suddenly discovered to be Dragonborn and will learn a new skill line (Shouts).

High Hrothgar will function similar to Arteum where you keep returning after killing certain dragons or visiting certain locations in the chapter.

Minimum effort, maximum gain and the template's already there after Summerset.

Probably wrong but that's what my money's on.

I expect to hear some high level information about this upcoming year. Last years story was well done so I am expecting continued quality story telling but that will not be present here. Maybe some information about combat changes and related actions we can expect this year. While we have no idea what added value items this years chapter will bring we can have a wish list but there are no reasonable means to actually expect specific additions so I just wait and see,

What do I expect? Nothing. That way i can't be disappointed when nothing new happens

I’m excited because say what you want about ESO, content-wise, ZOS does a great job with chapters. Morrowind, Summerset, and Elsweyr WERE well done additions to the game and VERY beautiful places.

I look forward to Skyrim. If it’s the Pale as some are saying, cool. I’d have preferred the Plains of Whiterun or Solitude. But Dawnstar would do. Winterhold College would have been ok before Summerset. The Psijic Order’s deep dive was far more interesting than Winterhold College would have been.

Again, I’m excited! Will definitely preorder again!

Three things I want more than anything else:

Optional higher difficulty in Overland, maybe all wrapped up in the new Champion point system somehow.
Housing stuff: Companion NPCs and alts roaming around our homes, gatherables, bed sleeping, etc.
Spellcrafting and/or new weapons.

What I expect:

A very beautiful Skyrimy landscape
Depressing locked buildings EVERYWHERE
No actual game changing new systems
No new weapons
No new housing features
Still no danger/threat/fun in the Overland
Awesome new furnishings
Vampire skill rework
Perhaps the overhaul of the Champion system, which seems pretty overdue

God, I hope I am wrong.

From the stream itself and the presentations? I have no idea but I can't wait. Too much negativity out there bring on the hype.
