As a Warden, Templar's frustrate me. They fill all 3 roles so well and better than any other class and they are simple to play on top of that. Making them abundant and sought after. But IMO over a nurf, I say it's time they started updating class identity like they promised.

Have to disagree; Templars - while good at other roles - are clearly best suited as healers. I say this as someone that mained a Templar Tank for most of my play time. The Dragonknight kit is clearly geared more towards tanking. IMO Wardens are good in all roles and they definitely Tank better than the Templars.
Templar healers are desired for sure because that is what they are Really Good at and designed to be.

Templar does well as dps too, only limitation is melee range.
