Specifically, the Rift since it reminds me of the area I grew up in, fewer saber cats though... but we did have an issue with bears.

Huh, I didn't even notice that Summerset Isles wasn't included.

Does anyone else feel like maybe Wrothgar should be included, too? I mean, technically it isn't a province, but it's the home of one of the playable races. So should it be granted provincial status, if not by the letter of the law then at least in spirit?

Eh, well.... I don't have any use for orcs. Never have had, and I've played TES since Arena released. So, no, from my POV, Wrothgar shouldn't be included.

    Skyrim
I may like playing Orcs best, but I'm a Nord at heart.

Like a lot of people, I started with TESIII, and Morrowind (or at least Vvardenfell) does hold a special place in my heart. But the whole Viking aesthetic is probably one of my all-time favorites, and Skyrim just brought it in in droves. Everything about that game was just gorgeous. The first time I got to Whiterun and night fell to show the Northern lights... I had to stop playing and just appreciate the environment. I've never had that feeling in a game before.

It's gonna be a shame to leave the Nordic motif behind for TES6. We did have something Nord-esque in all games since Morrowind (Solstheim in Morrowind, Bruma in Oblivion, and obviously the whole of Skyrim), and I'm really gonna miss it.

...and now I really want to go back and play Skyrim again. God I loved that game...

Disclaimer - I would be shocked if this has never been done before, but all the same, it would be fun to see everyone's response.

What is your favorite province of Tamriel and why? Please feel free to list geographical, cultural, historical, etc reasons.

From the options available, Skyrim, mainly for the aesthetics. It looks great. I also love Nords.

Cyrodiil but from Oblivion, but definitely not in the case of ESO which holds no interest for me at all. Any PVP grinding I do is by doing Battlegrounds, much less of a hassle.

So basically, Orcs were, are, and always will be the Untouchables and Dispossessed of Tamriel, doomed to forever be looked down upon, trodden upon, and have their homeland destroyed and be forced to relocate, over and over again?

Hey...Install Skyrim SE and grab some graphic mods and install Beyond Skyrim:Bruma.

BS team will release more things this year. Maybe Atmora or maybe Roscrea or both.

The whole Cyrodiill won't be out this year but if you follow discord and youtube you will find A LOT of info and updates regarding every province.

I feel the same. I miss Skyrim but I'm always playing anyway. I miss Oblivion too but maybe next year Skyblivion will be out too. Don't know if before or after BS Cyro. Anyway BS Cyro is set in another period ofc...the same as Skyrim.

I miss Morrowind too but Skywind release is far than Skyblivion one it seems.

I'm gonna miss Jeremy Soule music for TESVI too. Such a disaster.

    Morrowind
Morrowind is so unique with giant mushrooms and the lava rivers. Very beatiful landscapes and peculiar architecture. Im a huge fan of Morrowind lore. The dunmer are interesting and seeing the living god Vivec levitating such an interesting moment. Also I liked the quests in Morrowind. Lot of politics and dark plots going on.

    Morrowind
I picked Morrowind because it seems almost believable enough to exist on Earth and stirs a wanderlust that I will never be able to quench through my real world travels.

Summerset, of course. The most beautiful, the most pure, the most calm land.

    Morrowind
Because LORE. I think that the Dunmer have the most extensive and well-thought-out lore in all of TES.

If we're talking geography though, I like Hammerfell (particularly Craglorn) a LOT. Morrowind's not even close to my favorite in terms of geography, but the lore overshadows that.

Is it too late to ask a moderator to step in and add the Summerset Isles as an option?

I feel pretty awful for forgetting to include it. Xarxes forgive me.

*shrug* I wouldn't miss them personally, but others would. I wouldn't miss argonians either....

It was between Morrowind and Skyrim but eventually I chose Morrowind. It's just such a cool place from the lore to the physical environment and the complicated relationships of the great houses.
