Repeatedly getting stuck in Crypt of Hearts dungeon clutter

During the boss fight with Archmaster Siniel, my character keeps getting feared into one of the surrounding statues and permanently stuck in them. This is rather annoying and either the fear mechanic should be removed or the statues should be. That dungeon is too cluttered anyway.
