Coming across new finds after 4 years

Had a laugh yesterday. I noticed on my map summary that I had missed a point of interest in cold harbour. I was quite surprised. Ran up to have a look at "Endless Overlook". Was chuffed to find this and decided to translate it (dusts off old Oblivion notes). The author was either cold, terrified or slightly insane

I've also been playing almost four years and a few days ago, I was on the far right side of the map in Cyrodiil and found a note that prompted me to go to Vlastarus. I've been all over that map for about three years and just stumbled on the note randomly.

Last year I came across a crafting location in Alik’r that I’d somehow missed during 4 years of doing every quest possible in every zone on my main character. I also still stumble across little odd tableaus that ZOS placed, like skeletal corpses with specific objects lying next to them that tell a story of someone’s sad death.

I just “discovered” the map marker for Maelstrom Arena after 2 years playing - even though I have farmed the Orsinium event HARD. Derp.

Maybe it's like the writing on police cars, spelled backwards, so you can read it in the rear view mirror

That's a bit sad they didn't actually write anything.
I translated the writing on the walls along one of the exit paths from Hollow City years ago, and it made sense at least.

They did write but it's disjointed and mirrored as read clockwise from 12 o' clock position:
Molag Bal rules cold rules harbour (repeated 4 times)

A lot of the daedric writing is hit or miss in this game

Some of the Dolmens have more creative writing that translates to stuff like "Molag Bal is your master" and "Fall thrall to Bal".

Hit and miss is an understatement. There's rarely anything particularly interesting in the script. Most is just nonsense. A collection of letters thrown together because they don't expect anyone to care enough to translate it. It's a shame they don't do more. Some little hints here and there for the eagle-eyed players out there.

I did this ages ago with some of the Daedric script I could find. Don't know if they were done before, but as well as the one in the original post, here are a couple more.

"Tie cut deep" (it repeats, makes no sense to me; maybe one of the artists was being choked by a tie at the time?)
