What to do you think of adding the new furnishing behavior "Teleporter"?
It would be possible to create various lifts, teleporters between ends of large houses.
What do you think of it?
One of the things I find annoying about the larger houses is the load screen you get when entering or leaving an interior while you’re in the ‘house space’. The New Moon house you get as the Elsweyr house reward is especially bad at this. In contrast the huge Wraithstone mansion was one vast interior space. So as long as this idea could be implemented without a load screen, it would be nice.
It does seem very niche though as I’m not sure there are too many houses that are so large that it would be worthwhile.
What I would like is a weyshrine/teleport link from my house so I could go anywhere from it. I’m lucky in that my guildies tend to get about a bit, so I can usually freeport to one of them, but it’s a bit cruel for players who don’t have a pile of guildies they can use that it costs them gold any time they want to go anywhere.
Maybe if they were small, looked natural and could be made to fit in with the rest of the environment.
Can't say I really want a giant, sci fi looking thing on my Topal beach, or wherever; even if it would be convenient to be able to instantly port to my crafting area.
...and yeah, it would have to be instant.
A loading screen would totally defeat the purpose.
No house is so huge it would be worth sitting in a loading screen, rather than sprinting.
What would actually, probably, be of more use would be if you could set the place you ported into; rather than it being set by the game.
So, if you wanted to set it to your crafting area, for example, rather than just inside the front door/gate, or wherever else the game currently puts you.
Like the teleport doormat furnishing in Fallout 4. By default you landed at the front door, unless you placed a mat. The mat would then become your default arrival point in the house.
