Aeonstone Formation doesn't stay off

So I've had the same issue as others with the disappearing Aeonstone Formation, but I also have another issue. If I turn it off, and leave the house, the Aeonstone Formation will be turned on again by default. I really don't want the item to always be on. Please fix!
