I know they’re trying... but is anyone else disappointed in New life event ticket rewards?

Im currently sitting with 12/12 tickets and the only thing i want to buy is the last snow indrik feather. I wish i would have bought jade crown helm and shoulder last event but i passed because i felt like there would be something super good or interesting to buy on year end, but there really isnt.

And with an overwhelming FIVE tickets a day for 14 days... I didn’t anticipate that either. They are all going to waste. A increase cap for event tickets would be nice... Or even if they added something grindy like a random motif lootbox for 10 tickets each. Anyone else?

Well Impresario will have other junk in ticket store, as:

Unique pets
Style pages
Furniture

You can reward yourself with any of those.

Ticket grind will continue into next year. And if you want a base Indrik, or a base Indrik to turn into the Spectral Indrik, you should probably buy another 40 tickets worth of feathers... because none of us knows what events will be broken or cancelled to start off the first quarter of the new year. If you're betting that the Undaunted event will finally work this time, I've got some oceanfront property in Colorado you might be interested in buying for a super good deal!

Here’s a better idea ... if you anticipate tickets going to waste, how about skipping those days instead, enjoying the game, and not complain in the forums??

No one is forcing anyone to participate in the Event.

Getting disappointed before the event even starts seems rather defeatist. You don't know there might be something there you really want. And with so many days in the event there should be time to get some good stuff, and even if not its still wrong to go at it that way.

Zos really are damned if they do, damned if they don’t at the moment it seems! (Or people just like to whinge)

They are giving people a chance to earn a decent amount of tickets & so catch up with feathers & berries & whathaveyou - which is good.

Then for those that have all of that, there Is a new outfit style & pet - if they had put more new stuff, people would have complained that they couldn’t get enough tickets and it was a ploy to force them to buy them.

And it a time when a lot of people are away & not playing. And as people have said, you don’t have to do the grind for all 5 tickets - it is a voluntary thing, not mandatory!

Not disappointed at all, as I will be able to finish the snow indrik, get the matching pet AND get enough berries to finish the black indrik, as I missed most of the events for that evolution. Back on track for getting all indriks again. This one is happy with that. I don't use helmets, so missing that style didn't matter for me.

If they added even more unique stuff, most people wouldn't be able to afford it. It's unfortunate for you but in the end, they added extra goodies -- you just happen to not like the outfit style.

There's also the new outfit style, if you don't want to bother with writs. I'm glad there's not a ot of things this time, grinding for event stuff is getting tiresome.

I have only one base Indrik and now I can catch up. And I can get the new style without doing all that New Life routine every day for several weeks. I'm happy, thank you ZOS!

Oh I so happy that there are will be no necessity to grind hard. As for the tickets - after you grab snow indrik, you need to respawn your basic indrik. And after you respawned him you may buy feathers for the future.

If the event is not for you, it is fully optional. I've grinded tickets for things I wanted from Impressario, skipped events I was not interested of and done event stuff I enjoyed with full 12 tickets and letting tickets drops go waste.

(Not trying to imply this game is not a goldmine for reasons to complain. Because it is.)

Really it just sucks that they completely removed all the rewards from the crown store

Last year the boxes could award mounts, houses, any number of in game motifs, materials of varying rarities. Now it’s basically one outfit style that I have to look forward to, once I get that I’m probably not gonna bother with it

You are most likely correct because that's just how people are, but I like that this gives me the freedom to go wherever I want to get the boss tickets (which won't be at the boss closest to Breda), instead of being forced into a limited number of locations along with everybody else.

^ This. I was so happy yesterday, when I found out that they actually will bring all the previous berries back! Now I do have a chance to get the Onyx Indrik after all, that I missed because of... well, life. I think that's awesome, looking forward to the event now

I'm not at all interested in the new outfit style but I'm VERY happy with the extra tickets and all of the previous berries, because I have friends who missed some berries and now they can get their indriks! I felt so bad for people who missed out on them. This catchup opportunity is awesome. I'm going to try to get ahead on feathers, if I can, for that spectral indrik and to try to keep a nascent in my stable as well.

Well, when California finally falls into the sea we'll just see who's laughing then. Anyways, the Undaunted event worked just fine so long as you didn't use the findy-groupy-whatever thing. Run into the Grotto and solo a couple of things and hey presto it worked.

As for the topic at hand, yeah, there's 4 more feathers for a new base indrik (spectral coming in Jan-Mar), and the pet snowy indrik, and the last berry, which will cover 60 tickets. So, no, no disappointment in that regard for me.

I will complete the mount and then start over with the feathers and berry, then leave the tickets topped off for the next event........and that little pet looks like a good idea also.

As much as I dread the possibilities....I may have to take my laptop to work with me. I just fear that this will invite the bad mojo gods into the night shift at our hospital and we may not stop admitting for my whole 6 days on.

I'm quite pleased with this - plenty of things to get, including a skin and a pet, the final snow berry and a chance to catch up on other berries if you need to. Also different types of bosses give three tickets, which is great as you can get tickets doing normal (solo) game stuff e.g. delves, dolmens etc. Seems pretty good to me.
