Conals in Fang Lair and Moongrave Fane are not lining up

I've been noticing this for a while where some bosses conals and AoEs don't line, up trying to do No deaths and HM for motifs in Moongrave is annoying when you see the fus ro dah aimed in one direction but instead it's hits behind Grundwulf and kills someone who doesn't see it coming cause like everyone in the group, they all see it aimed in the opposite and the dragon in Fang, standing between his conals, you still get hit with it on one side as well as getting hit when you're not even in front him.
