Rework ES:L and put it in ESO as a mini game?

I'd love that. Especially if we get to maintain ownership of our current ES:L cards and packs under an account name, so that the app can still be used separately on android. If ES:L was incorporated into this game and things could be gained from it, it's playerbase would skyrocket, and potentially bring new blood into ESO as well.

I'm a big fan of ES:L, really enjoy it, and would like to see it incorporated into this game.

That's what SWG and EQ2 did back in the day. You had normal game cards that you could buy or collect and build decks and play with other players in and out of SWG. Then there were "loot Cards", which had a chance of dropping in a 15-card booster pack, which was sort of like Loot Crate 0.1 Beta. A lot of cool houses, speeders, even Ships were looted that way and it was pretty neat. I never played it, was only after the loot cards but a lot of people seemed to play it during downtime in game, etc.

all the people saying no can simply not play it? that said, theyd have to explain the anachronic cards being in eso since many of them depict figures that didn't exist till the fourth era. Maybe the same route they took with anachronic books where herma mora is involved?

Not really my cup of tea but it's an interesting idea. People could play agaist each other for a 100 or 500 gold wager or some thing like that put into a pot. But only in taverns or gaming areas

Dunno if gambling laws might have an issue with that though

I'm not sure why would it.
1. you cannot directly purchase gold for real money so no direct money laundering possible, and the gambling is done only with virtual money without any game supported means to cash out in game currency for real money.

2. Game is rated M for Mature already, and even more, simulated gambling goes to Teen category per ESRB:

Titles rated T (Teen) have content that may be suitable for ages 13 and older. Titles in this category may contain violence, suggestive themes, crude humor, minimal blood, simulated gambling, and/or infrequent use of strong language.

As far as I know, the gambling laws are mostly triggered on virtual betting, blackjack or casino games where you can purchase or cash out in-game currency for real money.

These cards will just be used to further dilute the loot table.

We can hope that the cards only drop when playing the card game but this is Zos, they will stuff useless scamp cards into every crevice they can find.
