Hey all, I've updated my Magicka Templar PvP build for the Draonhold patch and have embraced some of the reworked sets to create something that feels familiar yet unique and works for me. It works in all content, battlegrounds, Cyrodiil and duels with minor to no adjustments - as is a common theme in my builds. Nice build, couple questions:
- have you tried transmutation for some extra tankiness instead of lich?
- I was looking at your CPs and noticed you run really low crit modifier, are you light armor just for the pen? I've been using RAT plus resto ult back bar with great results for burst, almost as much using regular abilities with the modifier instead of crescent sweep

I have a crit nodifier if 1.8% as templar has 10% built in and then 20% from cp. If you're referring to crit chance, it is pretty standard for LA to have around 40% spell crit chance.

As for RAT - it's a great skill and I slot that or mist. I find RAT is better for burst than mist but mist better to escape. Both work well. I would way that the RAT does get dimishing returns as although you hit harder on crit damage, because it's a harder hit it will be reduced by armour more - you'd still get a net damage boost but I find it isn't needed for how I play.

I've used transmuation and it is phoenmal. Reason I went with lich is to help offset new moon cost increase which can cause issues it you're not 2k+ base regen and thus you'll lose alot of damage. If you want a high damage build with trans use the first version which has about 200 less spell damage but hits just as hard and buffs the entire team
