how come they just turned it off in about 4 hours after the event?

some guys already took 3 tickets and bought a new berry. and they took opal gears too. it costs a fortune in guild store.

how could possibly we know this would happen?? do we have to play this game all the time just in case like this?

what and how will they compensate for this loss?

How much are the rare style pages selling for now? I managed to get one.

They list for like 400k to 5M.

If Zeni dont announce a reroll of the pages, they will probably sell at those prices.
It just works, it just works, little lies, stunning shows,
people buy, money flows, it just works.
It just works, it just works, overpriced open worlds,
earnings rise, take my word: IT JUST WORKS!

I nerfed my wallet in Jan 2017. I altered my wallet status to closed in May 2019.

I’m sure it will be rescheduled or combined with another event somehow. They made up for it last year and just this past Witches event was extended a week. Stay tuned. Hopefully we’ll know tomorrow.

And it was ended so abruptly because people could no longer even log onto the PC EU server. I agree that was the best decision under the circumstances.

A lot of us are in the same boat — certainly if I’d known I would have stayed up later to run at least one dungeon!

I've seen a few as low as 300k. But, yeah, they'll probably move at those prices.

By fixing the servers. That's what it should be

Friend sold 2 pages for 1.5m

Also, they'll make it up by having everyone do Thieves Guild and Dark Brotherhood dailies for the tickets. At least that's how they shafted the PvP event a few months ago.

They need to roll back the servers at this point as there is no other way to correct the situation that I can think of unless they have a log of everyone who did the event during the window and the ability to selectively edit those characters and such. Even so for those that sold their pages and such money changed hands and so on, so it's not easily correctable as it could require active investigation of thousands of people.... strictly speaking they need to simply re-set the game to a pre-event state, and do it soon, to minimize the damage from people playing normally and losing progress this will cause.

My major problem is that even if they were to suddenly compensate everyone in the game, those who were active during the window will have all that stuff, plus the compensation. So if they say gave everyone three tickets and a choice of a style page or something, those people would effectively get double what everyone else did.

The silence on the part of Zenimax is rather galling, and it seems like their basic attitude is to just let the situation sit and hope with time people will forget about it.... that seems to be the common attitude among game companies as it's too much work to actually try and make things right.

They don't even roll back servers to correct exploits like the 1-berry-Onyx or the Necromancers-without-Elsweyr. I don't think they're gonna consider rolling back the servers to correct 3 tickets legitimately acquired.
As for people now having 3 extra tickets -- what about the Witches Event extension? Basically they gave a lot of people 14 extra tickets because they didn't have any issue logging in. So the people actually affected by the issues were still behind in tickets, they just got to earn some tickets at all.

At this point I wouldn't rush them. I think rushing things is what got us here and what got numerous bugs and issues into their DLC releases (not just talking performance issues and server issues, but gameplay bugs and stuff). Continuing to rush will just keep making things worse.

Yeah, asking for a rollback is kinda petty.
