+5 inventory slots on all of your characters.

At least that's how it was on the PTS.

It gives you +5 inventory space per character. No need to even use pet (it does not have to be activated). Once it is in your collections, you get +5 inventory slots upgrade.
If you have more characters - they all get +5 inventory so lets say if you have 8 characters, then you get +5 per character, and 40 in total (5*8=40).

i like this idea. but why ZOS hesitate to add account-wide upgrades to the store?

    minor bag upgrade:
+10 to all characters for 2500 crowns (available 5 times per account)

    major bag upgrade:
+25 to all characters for 5000 crowns (available 4 times per account)

They instead add little pet, having not clear description. Where is logic?

Pets can’t be isolated to one character and if they had it so that you had to constantly use the boar to get the extra inventory then far less people would buy it. For the normal upgrades they get more money for individual character upgrades - and there is the in game version gold sink which is individual too.

tbh. ZOS should simply add +10 bank space cap increase once a year, every time there is a new chapter, for those who bought a chapter.... but as always, they over complicate things and we got this twisted idea of inventory space bundled with pet instead.... but well, they could have not given such an option at all right ? ;)

this thing in the store right now?
"The red pill and its opposite, the blue pill, are a popular cultural meme, a metaphor representing the choice between:

Knowledge, freedom, uncertainty and the brutal truths of reality (red pill)
Security, happiness, beauty, and the blissful ignorance of illusion (blue pill)"

Insight to Agree to Awesome Ratio = 1:6.04:2.76 as of 1/25/2019

Compared to people that I've ignored = I am 18% more insightful, 20% less agreeable, and 88% more awesome.

I would imagine that this is just a bit of research to see how many people will buy it, will there be backlash for only making it available in the crown store and also what (if any) impact it will have on the server with regards to performance. Although given the current state of the game I don't think that's too high up on their list of priorities.

I'll definitely keep buying these. I don't care about pets or cosmetics in general, but inventory management sucks. I also have a ton of crowns and inventory slots are rarely added.

I'm sorry, but it's laughable. Amazing we are in the day and age of "gaming" where buying every single little feature, mislabeled as "convenience" and spending hundreds or even thousands of dollars on a single game for said "convenience" is considered acceptable by the masses when it's designed to milk every penny from it's consumers-- many of these features that should already be an included as QOL feature of the game. Cosmetics are one thing for monetization schemes, but this is just beyond ridiculous. Who is the problem at this point, the company or it's consumers that don't seem to know any better?

At least we are getting a quality and well-round gaming experience in return from all that income we are generating for the company, right?

    Right. :#:D

Yes, probably it may be an experiment. And i am afraid it will be successful.
I think the final and best solution for this game is to make some material content from 'material' state to 'collectible', thus making all gear as collectible. You just need to go to crafting station and craft collected gear's set item. It is all complicated and everything ends on the crafting system, which should be reworked. Even Cp points are tied to crafting system.

There is already a cat npc assistant that launders stolen goods. You earn it through the game playing the Thieves Guild dlc

While I could go on quite a rant about this nonsense, it really boils down to this -

It's a real shame when a fantastic game is dragged though the pooper by predatory monetization practices.

It is more than possible to make a fantastic game and have ethical post-launch monetization practices. Whoever is driving the ship of Elder Scrolls Online made a conscious decision to make this a play-to-pay game that attempts to milk its players of every cent they can get away with. And they do get away with it - human behavior is not hard to manipulate. But consumers are smartening up to these practices. Notably, world governments are smartening up to it and are already in the process of tightening consumer protections for our digital age from this sort of predation. In the midst of this, whoever is driving the ship not only doesn't care about these prevailing regulatory winds but is spitting into them by continuing to introduce new predatory microtransactions. That tells you a lot about whoever is driving the ship. Not good things.

I'm still debating about canceling my sub this year because of this crap. I shouldn't be, because this is a fantastic game. But they are ruining it more and more with this unethical cash shop racket and I'm getting sick and tired of it. And with so many games coming out lately that don't treat their consumers as cash cows, I'm finding fewer and fewer reasons to let this game be my sole exception of boycotting any game that pulls this kind of crap.

I think there should be more of these pets, and we should be able to buy multiple copies of each one.

Then I could run around Tamriel with a caravan of pack guar, pack boars, pack horses, pack bears, pack camels, pack Dwemer spider bots, etc.

When I went by, other players would stop, turn to watch me go, and say to each other, "There goes that crazy pack man."

Seriously, though, I'm so close to pulling the trigger on this. It will be the first time I've ever spent crowns on anything that wasn't a DLC, a collector's upgrade, or an account upgrade. I need this so bad on my NA account that it isn't funny.
I've fought mudcrabs more fearsome than me!

I would have liked it better if it was a pack pony or another animal with a pack theme. Good for people who think boars are cute, but I'd rather have something else. Yes I know you don't have to pull it out, but I have too much clutter in my pets tab already for summoning things, and I'd rather purchase something I would actually like to look at and use.
