What are sorcs hitting now

What are people hitting now on there sorcs after nerfhold . I was hitting 44k before now just hitting 36k 🥺

84.5k on stamsorc is the highest I've hit.
I've seen magsorc hit up to 87k to 88k and stamsorcs up to around 89k to 90k.3 -

Buffs from the dummy would add around 50 to 60 percent DPS, so you'd be looking at around 50k to 55k DPS on a 6m dummy.
In terms of trials performance, the top stamsorc parse from the past 2 weeks is ~72.5k and the top magsorc parse from the same period is ~64.4k..
Though keep in mind that the trial parses are not comparable to each other, since they are on different teams at different levels.

✭Using the same gear and rotation I've been using for the last year (never changed to the dot meta) i went from 40k to 37k on the 6m.
Before the dot buff i was at 38k, so not a huge change for me.
Not a huge dps change, but i definitely feel the sustain difference.
This is on a non pet, light attack build.1 -

✭I cant get past 21k consistently, and thats using the exact same setup as alcast (mag sorc, false god and mothers sorrow) and exact same rotation (1 pet, standard bar, yes with LA weaving). I have no idea where to go from here.2 -

Before the patch on my nightblade I would get around 38k

I was going about half as fast as you are lol. I was weaving, but not cancelling as much as I could have been.
Since posting before I’m up to 29k, and I miss cast 4 crystal frags, so that ate up seconds. Hopefully now I can keep the momentum and improve properly.1 -

In the end it all boils down to practice. I'm no where near perfect but good that it helped.
I would also suggest if you aren't using spell power pots, use them they will drastically increase your numbers. Of course never hardcast cyrstal frags. They do less damage and cost more that way.
Other than that, make sure you have all points in medicinal use (Alchemy) it will keep your spell pots up longer."Knee-jerk reactionist."

I'm using the latter sometimes with both pets (though usually just the VF) or with other skills mixed in ie bound aegis, empowered ward or critical surge depending on content ie solo overland/WB/ soloable group dungeons vs group dungeons or trials/MA.
I get up to 25k with it but before Dragonhold with a build that included skills like splitting soul trap I was getting up to 35k.
I can solo most WB, many of the easier dungeons on normal and I did Scalecaller Peak last week on normal but my build just aint great for a high dps parse because I dont follow the meta.
I've only done normal trials but if I were to do vet trials I'd go with my templar healer or dk, necro or sorc tank because I dont hit hard enough as my heavy attack petsorc for the dps role.

Yeap it was funny
UI would work better then elegance but farming the staff is painfull. Elegance you can buy and i think there is even a quest staff.
People get intimidated by trials and i used to be as well but normal craiglorn trials are easier then many of the dungeons and if you are nice and speak up you can get an I A set in one run.0 -

Other classes have some stuff two, like Burning light proc or Molten Armamentsto boost heavy attacks.
