The story of Reaper's March is okay,but eff the geography is annoying and the landscape just looks dull and dead. Apart from Hew's Bane easily my leasr favorite zone visually, Coldharbor running a close third.

What are the criteria for some zone to enter as "worst"? Visually, dull quests, annoying in some way..?

So I use R’awl as my base for my toons.... but as a whole it’s a dull zone with too many wasps... like the stories but yeah.....

Also.... what are the Jerral Mountains? 🤔 🙈

If I remember right Jerral Mountains is a small Zome you enter via the Dark Brotherhood Quest. I think you were trying to get to the shy Werewolf Assassin, who ran off. Or something like that.

@Saucy_Jack, what's your criteria for defining a "zone"? Why did the Jerall Mountains and Spiral Skein make it but not somewhere like Silatar?

Jerall mountains are no own zone. They would be part of Cyrodiil and as a PvPler I can't vote against my battlefield.

I had a "signup" thread going for a least a week, where people could discuss whether certain places could be considered their own zones for the purposes of the competition. It was there that Spiral Skein, Jerall Mountains, and Evergloam were argued successfully so they were included; where Eyevea wasn't mentioned at all which was why I forgot to include it; and where it was determined that Imperial City and Imperial Sewers were to be considered one zone.

There is no "Jerall Mountains" zone in ESO. Briefly visiting a location via quest only, should fully exclude it s a "zone". I think a zone in game should be an in-game map location that can be gotten to multiple times, outside of a quest.

I'm voting for it since it shouldn't even be included IMO.

Although beautiful, there just isn't much there and it only appears in one quest in an undefined part of the Jerall mountains. As it stands now the zone is just not really a zone at all.

I voted Reaper's march. So basically I don't like zones where you constantly get attacked by insects, mobs of 3 or more and beasts at every turn. It's overkill....😆

(Greenshade tends to be similar to Reapers march...Malabar tor is a pain to get around ...a nightmare when doing maps )

I love the Jerall mountains. It has mats and Psijic portals. It is so beautiful. I want a whole place like that. I wish Falkreath wasn’t a dungeon. If it had been a zone I’d live there no question.

Did you even read what Saucy Jack wrote? It's been decided before this Competition that Jerral Mountains etc. are here considered a Zone.

If you think otherwise you maybe should have written your disapproval in that older Forum Thread. Just because you personally don't consider it a Zone, the Majority did.

This pisses me off.😑

I don't think you can revisit it, but either way it doesn't matter. The people, who were interested in older Polls of this Sort and the Ones to come commented their Opinion and it was heard.

If people now come in, after People several times stated why these Places are in this Competition, complain why XY is allowed to participate..

Sorry, yes they aren't "official Zones". But they are considered in this Thread. Just accept it and move on.
I don't get why People have to smh take the Fun out of these lovely Competitions made by Jack, just to show that they are right.

Jerall Mountains is a tiny area used for a single quest in DB, I don't consider it a proper zone, so in a vote against actual zones it loses by default.

Its not that I have anything against the Jerall Mountains. Its just that it didnt fare well against the others.

Artaeum is just so beautiful and my Altmer magsorc has made it his home after being gifted such a lovely manor. My stamblade is still trying to make it to the very top of the Ceporah tower. Hes come very close, but hasnt hit the peak yet. I have no idea what hes going to do if/when he finally gets up there, but hes enjoying the fun of the challenge.

Reapers March has Rawl'kha. Everything you could want just steps from the wayshrine. And usually a good amount of entertainment as well. For my main, its a perfect city. Now as far as the rumors that claim the existence of entire zone outside of the Rawl'kha city limits, well maybe one day Ill have him check that out...

Northern Elsweyr. This one does not care for the terrain too much. Too many cliffs in bad places and not enough bridges. But otoh it has both dragons and Abnur Tharn, so I suppose such things as difficult travel can be overlooked

And Eastmarch? Simply gets a pass because my Skyrim nostalgia feels are very strong there, even more so than Riften that my Skyrim character had considered home. Not exactly sure why, but its simply just that way.

So apologies to the Jerall Mountains. Its a nice zone, but I was only there once and it happened up against some stronger competition here, thats all...
