On XBone. 0.01% of all ESO players finished that DLC. Sure, it's only been out a couple days, but maaan if that isn't a wake-up call, I don't know what is!

Some achievements on Xbox aren’t popping... I completed dragonhold on day one for Xbox achievements still haven’t popped.

    That could be the case...

    - It's been out only a couple of days. Some people have a life. ;)
    - For bugs, see above.
    - It's a DLC. People need to buy it, or buy ESO+.
    - Many don't play ESO for the story line. Completing Dragonhold doesn't give you a dungeon or trial, and it doesn't have PvP. Why would players interested in those complete the story (fast!), then? Or even buy the thing?
    - Even dedicated single-player story RPGs have surprisingly low completion rates, if Steam achievements are at least somewhat reliable.

Very new story-only purchasable content in an MMO is the nichest of niche stuff.

yeah I mean, I got that achievement too — it’s not indicative of anything other than I pushed through the content really fast. But yeah the sky is falling *rolls eyes*

Well, checking the glowing green dragon pets, there are a couple players who completed the story. The achievement being bugged seems likely.
But make no mistake, the DLC isn't particularily good, maybe the end fight is okay. Along with the nerf to gameplay, as in DoTs, I do think players generally dislike it. I'll keep monitoring the percentage.
And personally hope next season will be better.

I also finished it but it isn’t on my Xbox achievements. I loved it and took my time doing it.

Personally, to me, there wasn't much content. Short story line riddled with fetch quests. Annoying, boring, cannon fodder mobs to slow you down. Only the grapple and end fight were okay, and that's not enough to carry this DLC.

The wake up call is that you should slow down and enjoy the content, unless you just love speed running everything.

I did the side missions, too. How much slower do you want me to be? Maybe you need a wake-up call, you seem to be falling asleep during playing...
    (o_ô)

Be sure to let forum-goers know when you’ve hit 35,000+ achievement points in the game.

Then we might think you’re serious about completing content. ;)

My point! I'm not even sweating it, so that comment was highly inappropriate. The DLC is just that short.

Honestly I didn't finish the main Elsweyr story until the event a few weeks ago. I haven't done a single side quest there. I just have less and less enthusiasm to play after the constant bipolar changes being made. I just...stopped caring.

I have not finished it on PC. To many players around because the event.
    Delayed murkmire for similar reasons.
And yes I have done all the quests in the game.

Add that people leveling are using the double xp bonus to level.

I didn’t know achievements were cross server and cross platform.

Or did you mean 0.01% of Xbox users on your server?

If you’re going to go stat-tastic, be a little bit accurate

Also, it’s Witches Festival, so double XP and shineys for doing other content.. and login and patch f-muppetry to deal with so no surprise that not very many people have finished it yet. You don’t buy a DLC to finish and forget it in a couple of days like some binge watch TV shite.

I would agree that speed ruining content is no fun. Whining that you finished the storybook first, but only read every other word means you can’t have got much enjoyment from it.

Meanwhile ZOS aren’t bothered by your stat. First, it’s still about 100% more people than have completed DLC dungeon content after its first month’s release and second, they’ll be looking at how many people are playing it not how many people have stopped playing it. At the moment, my versions of Southern Elsweyr are packed with people.

This DLC is one of the best they've put out.

The storyline is actually good, the zone looks great, balancing was well done (there's a reason the rage posts stopped after a week from PC players), DoTs should never have been as powerful as they were and were taken back accordingly.

If you're judging solely by population then I think people really liked it. Most of my friends/guildies were there for the couple weeks and it's only now started to slow down.

It may also be indicative of the fact that many of these 13mill players or whatever they are up to now that ZOS likes to boast about are in fact not active players.

Those were always accounts and not active besides their server can't even handle 10k players let alone million lol to the most they had ~30k or less at peak not more than that.

I did it when it was 0.00 % :-) I’ll go back and run the side missions later. It wasn’t particularly rushed and I did witches stuff in between

It’s not that lengthy only takes about 4 hours ir so you could probably do it in 2 if you rushed it.

The way those statistics work is XBox takes all players who have played that game. They can be inactive for years, they can be US and EU and so on. Didn't feel the need to specify, those mechanics are always the same.
0.01% is a shockingly low number. The lowest it can get, actually, aside from 0.00%. I didn't come here to boast completion speed. I wasn't the first. I took my time, did all the side missions, as I always do. I cleared every mob I encountered, which took me maybe three seconds per large mob. I did not speedrun.
I was merely shocked to see that extremely low number. It's the first for ESO to have an achievement like that bugged, so I didn't consider that. But it seems to be the reason.

Glad you liked it. I didn't, but that wasn't the main focus of this thread and obviously, it's subjective.
The DoT nerf was overly harsh, no discussion here. When activating the Twilight Tormentor's ability means a dps loss and foregoing all your Stormcalling skills is meta, you know the balancing is whack.

0,1% of all people that logged into the game on Xbox since 2015. The percentage completion for new achievements will naturally go down.

It's not really a wake up call. That % draws from every single "owner" of the game, ever, for the past 6 years - including every single person who plays the game during f2p events.

When they consistently flood the game with bots and other people who won't stick around, it becomes less surprising to see such low figures.
