Same here as a sorc main, using it in PvP feels filthy but using it for overland stuff just running solo for world bosses is even more insane, you literally can't die.

These kinds of threads are the reason this whole general “discussion” section of the forums are a pain to attempt to read through.

There is no actual discussion taking place here, just a lot of yammering really.

Maybe someone could post some standard set-ups? Tool tips? Crit rating and such? Maybe effective HP? Does it over heal? Is there a reason it needs to be so high, and where do we estimate the cut-off point should be per a particular set up?
Or continue with this buff/nerf sorc drivel. IDK anymore.

The heal is perfect where it is now. Good PvP players can counter that sorc heal rather easily.

I'm personally not using pets and have only gone to Cyrodiil sporadically this last weeks, so the fact that I've mostly encountered other petless sorcs is not significant but it's the reason I'm genuinely intrigued by that new nerf christmas wish thread.
With the significant cost increase of a consequent number of abilities in the last patch and the use of cost increase poisons, are the petsorcs actually spamming a 4590 magicka ability ? Seriously ? ... and they're overpowering other chars ?

I don't think this guy's ever fought a tankmagplar with 30k health and git it to 10% health only to see Honor the dead burst its health to 90%...

On my magplar, I crit heal with 24k at full health outside Cyrodiil. That's without the Battle Spirit nerf but also with without the low hp buff...

I don’t think I’ve ever read a more deluded post in my life.

The matriarch heal is the strongest burst heal in the game unless you’re a Potato who doesn’t know how to make a build, it’s also the most expensive. Cost/benefit is still good because sorcs have great sustain.

I've been using my Magsorc in PvE for the last few months. I like the buffed heal, it's strong af. I thought it was pretty strong before though. I mean, I could heal up to almost full on any class PvE or PvP since I rotate my characters. You can do disgusting self heals on any class and disgusting group heals on some of them as well without using a resto.

I'd rather have sustain over strong heals personally.

The matrirarch heal is just 50% better if you compare it to Blessing of restoration. Compared to combat prayer, the heal is even 100% higher! If that is just "slightly better"? I do not know...

But that is not only a sorc problem! The healing and dmg reduction in general is too high in PvP.

LOL join non cp i am a MagSORC only i get told im on trainning wheels class 24/7 trust me this is all i play a magsorc! its my baby but thats way to strong of a skill so i had to make a post it only felt right. Its not even that its only too strong its a meatshield it blocks enemy attacks and thats not right. i like being a strong class but not to the extent that we become gods thats no fun to play as something that cant be killed if thats the case ill go play skyrim pull up console commands and type tgm.

i dont play nightblade it doesnt feel right i want to play a bawler blade i tried a few nights ago its just not fluid like a magsorc haha that was funny though, my highest rank cyro toon is Xanvalo and its a mag sorc.

im not the only one doing this im not suren who this guy is ive been seeing around but hes rather good, its a dc on no cp his name is Bae idk his @ name. I watch him do it all the time he kills 7-10 people alone with engine guard and matriarch. Its not that hard engine is BiS for a sorc IMO and with a pet its gross because it blocks all dmg along with twilight you cant target the sorc its impossible. 17 pugs out here liking your comment 10 of which i prob killed Thursday night.

I think a lot of these comments are coming from cp players now that i cant speak for, im not sure what it heals like but i can only imagine how much stronger the heal must me. I dont recognise any of you so far.

I had the same thought. I could only imagine the group OP faced was lead by Moe, Larry, and Curly.

see idk larry or any of thoes people haha but youre prob right it was a group of pugs but none the less 10 people should kill one person thats wack i could out heal that group.

I think damage is fine considering we are a light armour class, we have no class debuffs literally thats all we have going for us is that burst and mobility if caught right we will die instantly. The heal is just way too much though it actually disgusts me.

You are right im sorry about that but i dont know how to post pictures on here or how id capture this i just know it heals for too much because i can be at 10% and boom one click and im back at 85%

Ah, the ol' I play such-and-such class and want it nerfed - and since I play the class that must mean I'm just being really honest and want what's best for the game. Gimme a break. In most cases they don't currently play the class, or never have, or are playing a class they like more now and are tired of getting their butt kicked by the class they're asking to be nerfed. I'm sure the devs are fully aware of these kinds of passive-aggressive tactics by now.

well templar is a whole other subject i dont even want to talk about that on here. i know everyone knows the jab jab jab heal three button rotations, its way too much to even begin a thread on. they need be nerfed badly along with that cheese proc set they all use to allow zos to play the game for them while they sit there brain dead.
