Cruel flurry question

How does it work? For a tick of DOT damage or for whole DOT damage?
So:
flurry > dot1 > flurry > dot2 -> flurry > dot3

Would mean all dots damage is increased by 1000 wp?

You need to use a dot ability in four seconds which will get 1k wd boost.

And spell damage boost. Cause there are some cheap magicka cost DoTs like volatile armor from dk and so on.

I haven't checked but I doubt that Volatile counts as single target dot.
