What is offered this week?
The Golden vendor is a special vendor located in one of base camps for each faction in Cyrodiil that only appears on the weekend to sell monster sets that are obtained in the various group dungeons around Tamriel.

1. Plague Slinger Necklace – Robust 250,000g / 500,000AP
2. Necklace of the Undaunted Bastion – Healthy 250,000g / 500,000AP
3. Necklace of the Wilderqueen – Robust 150,000g / 300,000AP*
4. Necklace of the Order of Diagna – Healthy 150,000g / 300,000AP*
5. Sellistrix’s Helm – Infused / Impenetrable (Light, Medium, Heavy) 100,000g / 200,000AP
6. Balorgh’s Helm– Infused / Impenetrable (Light, Medium, Heavy) 100,000g / 200,000

*Tradeable

Items purchased with Alliance points are impenetrable.

Cool, a helm I can actually buy this time, vMoS is a pain, I have never actually completed it because the helm Was not worth the effort but for only 100k, I might buy one in each weight.

I'm excited about Balorgh!

I never got into an active guild so I always tried to Dungeon Finder my way through March of Sacrifices. There were a couple of times where we were close to getting the helm, but randoms always struggled on the Tarcyr fight. It wasn't much fun trying to acquire the helm, but now that I have it I can make some new fun builds without having to do a dungeon I don't enjoy.

Step 2: pvpers complain about getting killed or Zos dev gets trolled on a stream with a 1 trick pony build

They really should take helms out of the golden and make players earn them and ill go 1 more they should have to trade in green jewelry to buy an set too just to keep it even on taking helms out as its really bs seen achievements being sold

DLC monster helmet... nice. tbh. I am waiting for Stonekeeper or Grundwulf helmets... Maybe some day... some day...

btw. Did you noticed that the gold vendor items kinda diminished in value ? I mean the only thing that is worth buying are monster helemts. DLC ones in particular.

- Shoulders you can get easy with Undaunted vendor (DLC ones too).
- Jewellery you can upgrade. Overland is super easy to get, dungeon ones you can farm & upgrade too.
- DLC / DLC dungeon Jewellery ? If you have DLC then yes, you can farm that too relatively easy. But If you don't have a Dungeon DLC, it pointless to buy it from golden since you dont have other gear for the 5 pcs bonus.

I do believe that gold vendor should be "buffed":
- One base game dungeon RNG weapon peace.
- One base game dungeon RNG armour peace.
- One base game DLC dungeon RNG weapon peace.
- One base game DLC dungeon RNG armour peace.
What do you think ? ^

btw. Domihaus, Mighty Chudan, Earthgore helmets were all available at gold vendor and were not nerfed after (Earthgore was nerfed before helmets got RNG-ed to gold vendor list one week). So I dont expect this set to be nerfed or something. It is still very situational.

What use would AP have, in that case?
I started PvP to use AP at the gold vendor.
Not to mention you seem to be defending selling achievement runs as some justification to remove helms.

Golden Vendor sells helms so that people who can't complete a vet dungeon for various reasons or dont have the time to farm the helm in the right weight or dont own the DLC, can get it. I personally dont own the dlc with MoS and MHK, dont plan on buying it and now ZOS gave me the chance to get the helm. So, I thank them for that because otherwise, I might never have got it.

And it's a just game to have fun, not some kind of real life competition. Jesus...

If selling it on The Golden gets it nerfed, then it needed to be nerfed all along. Why is this is so hard for people to understand?

It didn't need to be nerfed.
But people will meet more players with {monster set X}, and will get killed by more players with that set. Just statistically.
And what do you do when you get killed in PvP?

You open a forum thread crying for a nerf.

It's how the world works. Like autumn comes after summer and before winter. *shrug

Well, it is not a proc set, it just boost your dmg for a short time, so it would not be visible on death recap anyway, so I would not worry that people will accuse this set...
