Seriously ZOS - Random BG finder is still broken - intermittent time out

There is still problems with the finder. I have tried twice for a queue . Once it popped and worked but second time it timed out at loading screen. Has anyone provided an explanation , it has been a week of this sort of thing and frustration is building.

Update : Tried a third time. I got the same loading screen with Capture the Relic. Somehow ZOS have broken the BG finder trying to adjust the way it works when creating groups. Can we just get a rollback to the previous finder. Some of us love doing BG and this needs to be resolved.

Also spoke to a guildie who has experienced the same issue. If anyone else has can you please post your experience. ZoS need to know if it is happening to many of us.

And when it does work you get queued with the sweatiest pre mades even though you're a solo and have 100 games played vs their combined 20k games played in their pre made... the whole *** thing is gross and *** atm.

If any of us did our job as *** as ZOS does we would be fired...

So this will be final post re updating as I give up. I jumped in the queue again for fourth time. It went to a loading screen for Chaos Ball. I waited for three minutes, no bg pop.

So 4 attempts for 1 success and 3 timeouts.

ZOS you are now taking the proverbial. I have a yearly subscription as does my partner. I find it difficult to play a game that has so many issues

First you nerfed the hell out of my build
Second you destroyed the BG finder
Third you said you had it fixed but it is still broken.

I am beginning to play other games more, I am sure others are doing the same. Do not be so complacent to think we will give you our time while you continue to do a poor job.

This is the biggest issue mate, if you disrupt our gameplay we will move on to other games. They need to realise that once that happens they run the risk of us enjoying other things and never coming back.

They should really just redo bgs so premades ONLY go against other premades.

Solos = 4v4v4
Any premades vs only the same. Example. 2/2 vs 2/2 v 2/2 or 3v3v3 or 4v4v4

and if people want to complain about it that means they are in premades wanting a easy stomp... I would take 4x *** 10x longer queues if I only got put into a fair game.. That includes when I run with friends... id still want what I said above.

Well Blizzard used to match only premades with premades.

I am not overly fussed about it to be honest, it would be good , but I would prefer just to be able to play BG. Perhaps if they could fix it first so that we can play then they can upgrade that.

So after six attempts all of which timed out - I got into a match finally.

Is it possible to get an explanation from ZOS - anyone? Has there been one that I have not seen?

I'm done with this - Ive tried to complete the BG daily for the past two hours and only had twice queue actually work with more than six times timeouts. I will not play this game anymore until you actually fix it. Better I go play other titles rather than endure the frustration of a broken game. So you understand ZOS I am a ESO plus annual subscriber. My renewal will depend on how you conduct yourselves. Right now I am not a happy consumer.

Friend had a 8 game load screen and on the 9th they got in but had 6000 ping. Out side of the BG had the standard 300 aussie ping but in game until he left it had 6000.

Sweet game zos. My friends sure make me want to come back.

The irony is I logged back in to try again - BG popped fine for once , got the daily reward then switched to tanking the dungeon finder and presto - NOT WORKING.

Queued for BG this morning, was in queue for awhile, it popped, sat on load screen for quite a long time, then kicked me back to where I hit 'F' to join with a message of "cannot enter battleground" and removed me from the queue.

I also experience the exactly same problem. Today tried 6 times to get a bg every time except once it did not work.
Also if I for once manage to get past the loading screen, which is unfortunately very rare, the bg is never filling completely resulting in not even starting or IF it starts with 3 people on some team.
I am a pretty new player and this was not an issue in the summer time. It started like 2 weeks ago and is now at maximum annoyance level.
I really hope this will be fixed soon since not many people will always be able to tolerate such *** ... and will eventually leave for games that have a more stable infrastructure, I mean the way too slow improvement of the games imfrastructure and stability results in shrinking player base. It's basicly like cutting the branch on which you sit.

im just amazed this game aint gettin the same bashin as Fallout 76.

Same shjitty poor performance and nothin is done. Just hope some day a big youtuber or whatever takes a look at this crap.

On average it takes me around twenty minutes of staring at loading screens, ALT-F4ing the game and requeueing until I manage to get in a BG.

me too. 2 attempt and both of them ended up with loading screen and no BG match for me, at least the previous system was kinda working, you had to click accept again and again because of someone decline bs but it was working(sort of), now zos did great job of broken it, i am not gonna sit here wait for match, i have swtor, gw2 and single player greed fall, i hope tomorrow patch fix it.fingers crossed tho.

Dude right now they are all running about with their hair on fire trying desperately to keep the servers on.... telling them their centre parting needs a bit of work is just not going to register.

Same here, I wait at least 10 minutes to ready but than it stuck in Loading Screen like 5 min and throw me out the the map like i never get in queue..

There is seriously something wrong with the BG finder... And they cant fix it STILL!!!

It’s consistently giving me and my buddy infinite loading screens (or at least *seemingly* infinite loading screens) when we try to queue up for a BG, whether solo or separately.

My friends and I on Xbox NA got near instant ques on the first day of the patch and were excited that maybe something was fixed given it would be 20-30 min ques prior to the patch if we were on our mains. Then last night we didn’t get a single que in almost 4 hours. It never even popped once. We tried group que, solo ques, on our mains, on other characters, nothing. 4 hours of waiting for nothing. We were all excited after the patch day where ques worked great, but we clearly got our hopes up too much in thinking ZOS actually did something right, and now there’s almost no motivation to even log in again after the ques are back to being even more broken than before.

BGs queue has been broken for a long time, I don't expect them to fix it. I just gave up and don't play BGs or pvp. This is a feature of this buggy game, but hey they're "fixing" stuff by 2020 and they're aware of it.
