Don't use it if you don't like it but a LOT of us take advantage of it. Seems like this shouldn't even be a question.

I like Groupfinder. Tanking random dungeons is my favorite way of leveling mew characters.

Most of the normal dungeons are such "old hat" for me that the entertainment comes from watching the antics my groupmates get up to.

And some of the best, most rewarding runs have been random normal and veteran groups where we struggled with the dungeon, pulled together, and were victorious!

Finally, not everyone enjoys guilds or reading zone chat to try to pull together a group. Groupfinder is pretty important for making sure ESO is suppprting all types of players.

This is a no brainer. We would all loved to have seen the proper functionality right off the bat though. I am not sure what else they can do behind the scenes to properly test loads on new features but it is something that I think would benefit both the team and the community.

I am for the Group finder.
I come from mmo where it didn't exist, and it was constant drama and fighting between guilds for players to complete any content.
With Group finder I can also meet random people outside my guilds and get a party together really fast.

There are some simple social rules you should remember to keep it enjoyable for everyone:
1. When you enter a group, say Hi to everyone in group chat.
2. Are you there for quest, achievement? Ask in group chat if others need them too or mind completing them.
3. Are you for gear? Ask in group chat if anyone needs that particular set. Trade the set pieces after last boss to ensure smooth run.
4. See a chest, or heavy sack? Type it in group chat so everyone can get the contents. Unlike in open world or public dungeons, content is there for everyone separately.
5. Difficulty finding party? If you already have a partner in party (party of 2) it is faster and easier to find a group via dungeon finder. (I personally use this option the most to get the exp from random dungeons)

There's a group finder? This one didn't know there was a group that was lost. Perhaps this one is a part of that group.

Bit tedious, but normal dungeons can be solo'd for the daily Dremora skull
as pertains to after the event, the group finder encourages me to do grouped content, but said content is not a big enough part of the game to ultimately care about no longer running it
